((Thinking we should try a pull or 2 of him this coming aq20 after we take out Moam. His fight is very intense but doesn't require high nr, like the other boss fights, Buru/Ayamiss in particular. Kaerfiremane Posted July 5, 2006 Share Posted July 5, 2006 You guys shouldn't need Nature Resist for any of the bosses in AQ20. For Moam, hes a kitten if you bring 3 warlocks (one for each add). Without 3 warlocks, don't even attempt the fight. For Ossarian, you want to have at least 3 tanks, all fighting for aggro. You also need at least 3 hunters. You put one hunter in every group, except the first group which is the MT group. That group should have your 3 warriors, and fill up the next two slots with rogues if you have them, if not any non healer class. The hunters keep aspect of the pack on, to make sure that kiting goes easy. The key to the fight is all on the tanks. You have to rebind your keys so that you have the ability to strafe instead of turn. You cannot run around, otherwise he will daze you and youll not make the transitions correctly. TS is also vital for this encounter. You have to be able to call out the whirlwind, or youll die. Tanks should be strafing left or right towards the next crystal, sundering as you move (for some reason, you can still hit ossarian even though you are strafing left/right.) If youre tanks are sharp and pay attention, and the healers stick/move and stay close to the hunters the fight is not too challenging. Rogues have no job, unfortunately, in this fight - so they are prime scouters. Keep your rogues on their mounts for the entire fight so they can scout crystals for you. Make sure you don't go crazy with his 200% damage vulnerability, or youll pull aggro and its GG. Running into the whirlind is also GG. The only pitfall from the healers perspective is you have to watch your tanks and yell at them if they are running through a pillar that will put them out of LOS for you.
