Martok
Heres a change in 1.12 that was made after the release of PTRs. Perhaps this will give new angles to the 'Does Lifetap cause threat?' debates I've been seeing as of late. # Life Tap: This spell now benefits from effects which increase your spell damage. At rank 3 and above, the base amount of health lost and mana gained will increase by 80% of your bonus spell damage effects. Talents and items can further modify those values. Rank 1 and 2 receive reduced effect. Hi all, In addition to Tserics information about Life Tap posted here; http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.a...1192124&P=1 Id like to make one additional clarification to quell any arguments that are still raging: Life Tap does not generate threat. However! After reading through a lot of the posts arguing this point, we discovered a bug in 1.12.0 only that caused Life Tap to start generating threat, meaning that players on the PTRs may have seen a version of Life Tap that was generating threat on their targets. This bug was never present in any versions prior to 1.12.0. This bug has now been fixed and will be fixed on the PTRs during their next update. It will most definitely be fixed when 1.12.0 goes live. Thanks for the discussions and speculation on this. Your input as a community has helped us quash yet another nasty bug. -motive MMHMM! Lifetap has been getting Vrugz killed! Tainish
Admit it. You life-tapped yourself to death and now you're trying to blame it on "aggro".
