kodoz
The Second Monthly Bards Night will be held at Galehaven Tavern this Saturday at 9 PM EST. Hosted by the Purple Guardians of Honor, over half a million gold in cash prizes will be awarded out to the top three competitors. The tales have very few rules, other than no harsh vulgarities, and every storyteller only gets five minutes to convey their story. This months theme will be Encounters. This could be an encounter with a famous person such as Lord British, a terrible monster such as one of the Ophidian Berserkers, or even something as mundane as encountering a place youve never been before. Above all, have fun and spin your tales yourself; Originality will be appreciated over anything else. Three judges will preside and will be picked at random from the crowd. Guardians of Honor who attend will be asked to aid with security if they are not telling a story. (dont worry, you will be able to view the stories. Basically it means working the doors until showtime.) If you need a rune or directions to the Galehaven Tavern, Please contact Emperor Kodoz at pigeon roost 84763321. Calli
Last nights event was Wonderful! Everyone did so great! The winners were 1st place - Lazulli with her wonderful tale of a troll in wudd. 2nd place- Our very own Zera with a hilarious poem about her encounter with a lizardman 3rd place- Huma with his interesting tale of dwarves in Minoc. Ponce and Lori were also contestants in last nights event. Both did really well. Ponce with this amusing array of jokes that had everyone laughing and Lori's tale of an encounter with a Deamon. Congrats to them as well because it takes a lot of courage to get up in front of others and tell a story.
