NOTES FROM Levnik The Foundation Fishing and Cooling together..... Brilliant Smallfish Valley of Honor Fishing (Orgrimmar) Recipe (clvl 1, cooklvl 1) @ Shanky's in Orgrimmar Took my fishing to 65 Took my cooking to 50 (about 60 fish) Longjaw Mud Snapper Thunder Bluff Fishing (Thunder Bluff) Recipe (clvl 5, cooklvl 50) @ Klixx in Ratchet Took my fishing to 100 Took my cooking to 100 (63 fish) Bristle Whisker Catfish Sun Rock Retreat Fishing (Stonetalon Mountains) Recipe (clvl 15, cooklvl 100) @ Shanky's in Orgrimmar Took my fishing to 175 Took my cooking to 175 (about 90-100 fish) Mithril Headed Trout Darkcloud Pinnacle Fishing (in Thousand Needles) Recipe (clvl 25, cooklvl 175) @ Shanky's in Orgrimmar Took my fishing to 225 Took my cooking to 225 (58 fish) 225+ COOKING NOTES from sesmaullee WE ARE UBER For horde and alliance both you need cooking skill of 225 exactly and player level 35. Speak with dirk in gaz (tanaris) INN. He will give you a quest: items needed for the quest can be easily bought from the AH (neutral ah always seems to have these items as well) 1)20 alterac swiss 2)10 zesty clam meat- turtles in tanaris are mobs lvl 40-43, you can collect these in about 1-2 hours grinding 3)12 giant eggs - collect these from big birds, rocs in tanaris or for a better drop rate the owls in hinterlands the owls lvl 43-45 have best drop rate again about 1-3 hours of grinding If you think ahead and take these 3 things with you to Gaz then you can turn it back in imediatly. and poof! 300 possible cooking skills...just a note..if you go to steemwheedle port right after and have fishing 125+ easily caught yellowtail fish (goblin in hut on left at port sells rec'p for them) you can boost your cooking skils to 300 in 75-85 fish , they also require no spices-and you can cook them in Gaz in the hut near west side of town next to stove ( pot bellied stove thingy) It takes maybe 1hr of your time at most..good luck I completed this quest at lvl 41 priest, getting from 225 - 300 is easy, may i suggest lvling your fishing and while in tanaris port grinding tutles speak to vendor to gain the nightfin soup receipe ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- *goes out to start working on these trainin tips Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
