Little Tauren, Big Dreams

[Amahli]

"Hurry up!" the little Tauren shouted, stomping her hoof impatiently. "Ah've only two hours afore sun goes down!" She stood (in what she thought to be a very fierce pose) on the eastern outskirts of her village, Bloodhoof, with a small staff brandished in one hand and a brown leather bag over her shoulder.

Just passing the last of the tents, three young male Tauren about the same age came jogging up. One, holding a totem in one fist and a mace in the other, sighed when he reached the girl. "Amahli, it's not a race, you know."

Grinning ear to ear, Amahli twirled her staff then replied, "Aw, stomp it, Nahye. Ya know ah wanted ta have this done ages ago."

Another of the boys piped up, "What y'mean 'ages', Ama? We was on'y asked last day."

Amahli rolled her eyes and put a hand on her hip, swinging her staff around again with the other. "Yah'll kin be ickle meat-heads then an' ah kin chase them baddies off'n by mahself!" Without waiting for a response, she stomped again and took off to the east, passing by bewildered Plainstriders.

The three Tauren left in her wake looked around at each other, and one of the bolder ones spoke up with a touch of weariness. "C'mon, guys. Might as well catch up with her before she hurts herself."

((Just a short little clip from Amahli's early life, while living in Bloodhoof village. I'd imagine her to have been quite the little nuisance. ))
