Baracko
*Baracko posts a precisely written note penned in Human Blood on the skypage* Listen up, you maggots! The chief has charged me with whippin you all into shape for upcoming battles, and I intend to see just that happen. There are some nasty critters endangering the areas we call home, on both sides of the portal. Our honor demands that we take part in the upcoming battles to defend our homes, both new and old, but to do that, we need to be ready! Ill be damned if the other clans are going to steal our measure of glory! OOC: Now that the leadership has met, we can talk a little more. So many folks have asked where we are headed and what our focus will be. CS has always been about being a little bit of everything, always with relation to the roots that made CS what it is today. We're going to continue with that trend because we have a little bit of everything, so get involved in the things you enjoy, whether its pvp, raiding, or just plain questing... Many folks have felt left out of groups, and as I have said before, I felt that too for a time. Class balance issues and smaller instances are making it tougher to find groups. Also, people have different friends/aquaintances that they are more comfortable running with. If you are feeling left out, you can do a number of things: 1. Start your own group. The leadership is here to help provide you all with a framework and help keep the guild in check. We are not, however, babysitters. Most of us are adults here... its time to be proactive. 2. Ask those you see running often to consider you. I know that when Ive been running groups lately, Ive been trying to incorporate one person I dont normally get to run with, especially on an instance I know well. 3. Look outside the guild a bit! We have good relationships with many guilds: Ani Anastigi, BMC, Sons of Draenor, Sublime Order of Discord. This is a good chance to get to know other people! If you dont know others, ask us! Many of us have full friends lists that can be of use to you! Where we are headed in Raids of 10 folks or more: Here is the progression in the near future, per design --> Minor Instances (gearing, keying) --> Karazhan / Gruul's Lair --> Magtheridon's Lair --> Serpentshrine Cavern Masishu has already started a Karazhan group made up of different guilds. Also, I am forming a Karazhan raid right now for the initial push. I am going to choose the intitial players to speed the learning of the instance so that we can gain as much experience as possible ASAP. Once we get to know the place better, we'll start cycling out some new people who would like to experience the place. Again, don't feel left out! I have to be very careful in what I pick from a class balance standpoint, but I eventually want to get everyone in there who would like to go. Bad thing is that I can only take 10 people. If you dont end up as part of the initial group, please keep an eye on my guide post in the raid forums! Ill update new strategies as we try them! It will make it massively easier to incorporate new people if they know what they are doing! Inevitably, there will be days when the core players cant go... Ill need alternates... those who know it will get first shot! Amahli will be team-leading Gruul's Lair to start, with Amahli eventually taking over. We hope to start there as well in a few weeks. She'll be posting signups as soon as she thinks we have a fighting chance - hopefully in about 2-3 weeks. Be prepared for trial and error. There is enough gold flying around these days that I shouldnt hear any ######ing about repair costs. Furthermore, get in those instances if you can and get geared up a bit. We dont need to be fully decked out, but having slightly better gear does help (Ex: MC in the beginning vs MC toward the end. Difference? Gear.) If you want to try other things, then take initiative and start it up! Come talk to me or one of the other leaders, and we can coordinate schedules or at least help you promote it! Again, I will stress that we are not babysitters! These are the current raiding goals. Be prepared to do battle! :End OOC TO WAR!!! RAAAWWRR!!!!
