muru
Aleis gazed across the Gulch. Something was different today. The alliance had never posted any challenge to Aleis and the rest of the Horde guard. Today, however, they were fighting with incredible intensity..... At the tender age of 39, Aleis already had put over 19 thousand alliance in the grave. It was a history he was proud of. Mainly solitary in nature, he had become obsessed with meeting the alliance at every opportunity and thwarting their plans of expansion in the Gulch and the Basin. While other horde around him strived to grow stronger to seek newer lands, Aleis was consumed with driving the alliance scum back into their graves. It was a chore he relished and quite frankly, was an easy one. The alliance never fought with any battle plan; they were routinely thrashed with very little effort. "Aleis," Tigeris grabbed him by the arm, jolting him out of his reverie, " I see not Barundar amongst the alliance! Who leads the enemy today?" Aleis spoke slowly, considering his words. "Barundar is not here today. This is not a battleclan we have seen before..." he ended. Aleis strode to the edge of the outcropping they stood upon. Even though he had traveled the Gulch for 20 years, there was something very wrong with the way he perceived it today. The surroundings were the same, but he sensed that a major change had occurred. "Tigeris, gather the others together at our tunnel entrance," Aleis called out, "We must consider a more organized approach today. We will not be victorious this afternoon by just running the scum down one by one." Tigeris turned and sprinted toward the Horde base. Aleis was jolted from behind. Stunned, he could not move his legs. A hazy outline of a figure circled his body. The alliance assasin moved in for the kill...
