September Jousting Tournament

The next Joust will be held at the Imperial Jousting Arena on Saturday September the 6th at 9 PM Eastern.

Jousting Rules

Entry Fee:

10,000 gold. Please bring your entry fee in check form.

Awards:

First place will receive 500k.

Second place will receive 375k.

Third place will receive 125k.

Rules:

Armor:

GM crafted non runic or NPC bought armor with no gloves. Jousting suits can be bought from the vendor at Galehaven.

Jewelry:

No jewelry is allowed.

Mounts:

Standard Horses only, No ethereal mounts. Attacking of mounts will result in automatic disqualification.

Lances:

Luna Lances will be provided for each participant. If you are not strong enough to equip one you may use a strength potion. Failure to return the lance will result in disqualification.

Clothing:

Anything that covers armor is not allowed.

Potions:

No potions except strength are allowed.

Spells and Abilities:

No special abilities or spells can be used except the dismount special from the lance.

Scoring:

Contestants will score a point for each succesful dismount. The first contestant to reach three points will win the round. If both contestants are dismounted at the same time then both will receive a point. If it results in a tie then the round will continue until the tie is broken.

Rounds will continue until the first, second, and third place winners are decided.

(All participants will have to either be in a guild that is highlighted to PGoH or will need to temporarily join PGoH for the duration of the event.)
