Holyssa
There's a few Achievements which look more like cumbersome chores than anything else. But if you're one of those people who simply has to do 'em no matter how sucky the journey may be (like me!), then here's a few tips: Make Love, Not Warcraft - If you know a buddy on the opposite faction, this can be very simple. Or go to AV and make a beeline for the cave. AFKers are plentiful these days! If you're still stuck, make a /target macro on a player that seems to be easy prey, and follow it with /hug emote commands. Can be kinda tricky in BGs where players sometimes auto-release to get back into battle. Classic Dungeon Master - Pretty fun achievement to get, but Stockades is on that list. If you despise Alliance to the point where you refuse to roll an alt and tour Stormwind City... -Mount up just outside the front gates. Bring a Riding Crop. Approach the capitol from Westfall along the foothills so potential lowbies/Hogger victims don't spot you. -For tank types and rogues: stack avoidance gear. Guards are now L75, and CAN inflict crushing blows, possibly dismounting you as well. Agility buffs work nicely too. -Got a paladin buddy? Crusader Aura will make you one step closer to being a living lightning bolt. -A map of SW can be found here. Stockades is in the tower directly across the Mage quarter. Rep-based Achievements - If you're L60, these should be no stranger to you, but the worst ones to build up will be the Argent Dawn, Timbermaw, Cenarion Circle, and Hydraxian Waterlords. Most of those rep grinds reward the bare-minimum of rep for a high level player, and could potentially take WEEKS unless you hoard every quest turn in you find. Here's hoping your friends run Classic instances every now and then! The Ambassador Achievements can be done by going to L1 starter zones, which to this day award 150-250 rep per turnin...a nice alternative to gathering endless mounds of cloth. Don't grief lowbie players while finishing these tasks if you can help it. Always ask any nearby players if they require a quest spawn, or even help them out if you can. Mount Collections - If you got the Ambassador Achievement, congrats! You get a generous head start by accessing all the mount vendors, but now it's time to do shopping. Normal L30 mounts contribute to this as well, so don't feel ashamed if you need to plonk gold on that hideous Tallstrider or the overly-sized kodo. Food Achievements (It's Happy Hour Somewhere / Tastes Like Chicken) - Got a mage buddy? Ask them to conjure one of each type of food and water...give them a tip for their spare time too. Alcohol also contributes to this, but be careful not to go flying when smashed, or you'll have one mean case of motion sickness. You can also sample food from low-level vendors, but eat them in order of item level, or else you'll get the "A more powerful buff is already in place" error. If you maxed out cooking, make several low-level delicacies and snarf em down. Specialty food vendors help with this too, like the Arrakoa guy in Shattrath who sells nothing but fish. See, these vendors DO have a purpose! Well Read - Holy crap that's a lot of lore. Click the achievement title for a list of every book you'll need. Be aware, some books can only be found in the cities of your enemies, while others are exclusive to dungeons (like Scholomance). Also, this is NOT retroactive - if you read the books in the past, you will need to read them all over again. Pet Collections - The neutral AH is great for picking up a few strays exclusive to the opposite faction. Some pets are very rare drops, like the oozling and whelps. Here's a list of pets that can be found all over: Vendor - Alliance CitiesElwynn 1. Cat Carrier (Bombay) 2. Cat Carrier (Cornish Rex) 3. Cat Carrier (Orange Tabby) 4. If you kill things too quickly raising your unarmed skill, equip a Torch of Retribution from the Searing Gorge quest and fight critters. And if you're feeling adventurous - Gordok Spirits grant skillups as well. Happy hunting!
Holyssa
..whoa. Figure I'd link some quests to help people get a jump start on Rep grinds for the title & Exalted Achievements. Most of these are the solo-able stuff that aren't directly tied to raids: Timbermaw Hold: Feathers for Grazle / Nafien 300 Rep per turn-in. Beads for Salfa: 300 Rep Ritual Totems: 1400 Rep The competition for grinding this rep was brutal at L60. With the recent boosts provided by the patch, this rep grind became a lot less tedious (despite being a semi-slap to the face for those that did it the old fashioned way), but now you gotta compete with epic'd out friends & rivals. Cenarion Circle: Twilight Texts: 500 rep There are other turn-ins for getting rep, but if you don't feel like grinding AQ20 or the Abyssals, this is the best method. The price on these has gone up greatly on AH, so spend wisely. Mobs in Silithus die super fast, and keep an eye out for the Twilight Prophet - she can drop as many as 7-10 texts per kill! Bloodsail Buccaneers: The best guide for this (IMO) is listed here at Breanni's amazing Warcraft Pet site: http://www.warcraftpets.com/guides/pets/bloodsail.asp Great for those that want to be a hardcore pirate, but always wanted to know the pros & cons. Your grinding methods may vary! Shen'dralar: Class books: 500 rep Enchant books/Librams: 500 rep Those crazy Night Elves in the Dire Maul Library. Probably the most time and money-consuming rep to build up depending on how much of a classic pack-rat you are. The good news is that each class book/Libram gives a LOT of rep. The bad news? Each Libram is UNIQUE - you can only carry one set of quest mats and a book at a time. Easiest way to do this is to mail yourself every Libram, and carry a massive amount of quest materials, running back & forth from Camp Mojache to DM North. The following Librams award Shen'dralar rep and do not cost money (unlike the quest in the Steppes): Libram of Protection Libram of Rapidity Libram of Focus If you're a faction perfectionist, think carefully before you chuck away those books! Semi slap in the face? Grrr. I won't go into details about how many Furbolgs died to Windcheater's claws, but this is just rediculous. (yea, for the first time I'm actually pissed. 300 per turn in? thats mor ethen a 1000% increase. ######s. -Gordantell

Remm
Just a little tip...while out doing your exporing achievments and trick or treating make sure to hit all the vendors in the area for new food and drink for those achievments and also recipies you might have missed while leveling for the cooking recipie achievments. If you cook and fish make sure to catch a fish or two along your journey's to cook and eat, it helps with both the number of fish achievement and eating all the food. Also make sure to hit those low level instances while running around to save some back tracking later. I went thru wailing caverns and could not get the end event to work, I sent a ticket to blizz and the response was if you go thru the bosses to fast it will bug the end event so take your time lol
Holyssa
Mini FYI to those working hard on Halloween Achievements - the Squashling (which counts for the Holiday and Pet Collection tasks) has been confirmed to drop from Treat Bags by Blizzard! Holyssa
Just spotted this little info tidbit: this is especially good for all you Bloodsail Admirals who want to be one step (or is it four? lawl) closer to 40 capped factions and still make nice with the little green goblins. Recovering Steemwheedle Cartel Rep, or "How to Show the Cartel You Aren't a Total Farkwad" http://www.wowwiki.com/Bloodsail_Buccaneer...mwheedle_Cartel TLDR Edition: Do these quests for a lot of Steemwheedle rep and still stay on good terms with the pirates - Zorbin's Zapping quests - Initially they give 300+ rep with all four Cartel factions. From there? It's 25 rep per turn in, and this can be done over & over. Free Knot! - Before there was the TCG, this was the source of everyone's favorite craftable "fat suit". Saving Knot will earn 350 rep every time, and building the suit will earn 250 rep for your first time (75 rep for additional suits). Just make sure you can sufficiently solo Dire Maul (North) before you do this. Happy grinding! /eyetwitch
