Katherine had an idea for an RP/PvP event: a caravan from Trinsic to Britain, to bring supplies to the city since it's been under attack. The PvP part comes in because we'll get raided and have to protect the caravan of pack horses from the raiders. The problem is getting everyone together at the same time. Katherine Elle Posted December 2, 2008 Share Posted December 2, 2008 Alright, here's the only rules we have set up for the event so far. If you run more than three screens from the initial site of any of the battles, you have 'retreated' and are not allowed to reenter combat during that same fight. This way we don't have the ninjas on both sides running forever. We will be taking five packhorses, and the supplies will be divided between them randomly. For each battle won by the raiders, they will get to roll the dice twice, and take two horses. So, horse 1 will have numbers 2, 7, and 12. Horse 2 will be 3 and 8. Horse three will be four and 9, and so on. At the end of the event, if either side has won all three battles, they will have all of the supplies and horses. After each fight there will be a time of about three to five minutes to regroup. In character this time is used to coax the horses back out of their fright for us, and for the raiders to take the two horses they possibly won back to their base. So far, the total of supplies is tremendous. This will be a huge win for whoever takes it home. And the best part is that the winnings go back to the individual participants. Gold, resources, and the barbed kit will all be rolled for at the end for possession. Meaning everyone has a chance to get a barbed kit.
