Holyssa
http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.h...amp;pageNo=1#18 By Valnoth: Zul'Gurub is gone as a raid instance come Cataclysm. So yea. The message here is pretty obvious: if you still don't have that red raptor, Zulian kitty, or a favorite RP weapon from the dungeon, now is the time to start farming! Ascoli
Well, it does say "as a raid instance"...
Skywatcher
Well, it does say "as a raid instance"... Yah, though conversion to a 5man probably means a reworking of the loot tables. That could spell the end of the mounts. On the other hand, Strath still has a rare mount, so it could be the mounts will still drop in ZG. Personally, I keep thinking about doing trying to hit ZG for a chance at a mount. Never seem to get around to it though. There's so much to be done before Cataclysm hits. Scryll
My understanding from news sources is that Zul'gurub is being transformed into a phased questing area. So yeah, if you don't have something from there, you'll want to get it.
Waldonnis
*watches with amusement as an intentionally vague statement is interpreted in a myriad of different ways* Frankly, we don't know what it means and can't find out until the servers are up again or a clarification is posted. If you want to be safe and are already farming for the mounts, keep doing so. If you're not currently farming but want the mounts, best to start doing so since it's unknown what their fates will be for now. The same could be said for Zandalar rep, the raptor hatchling, or even the polymorph book. A lot is changing in Cataclysm, so if you have goals that involve Azeroth zones/quests/instances/raids, best to start working on them now. I've already noticed several companion pets that (unless they're moved) will no longer be available, and there are a few other things that obviously won't be around any longer either. If you're really after some of these harder-to-get things, don't wait much longer to get them done.
