Vevielle
Hello everyone! So after much searching for my desktop PC mic (from my first ever computer, this is a major heartbreak), alas - it does not want to be found. I do not want to keep on missing out on all the TeamSpeak fun, so I must purchase a new mic. This is not my area of expertise and I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations for me? Caerbannog
Not too sure about mics. I've tried a few different headsets though and so far I've liked most of the Logitech ones. Right now I have a wireless model that cost me around 70 dollars. Had it for a year but thinking of upgrading myself.
Martok
Get a nice one. The cheap ones will hurt your ears after a few hours. I'd suggest that expensive g35 Logitech one that best buy has. I am currently using the Corsair HS1 It seems like a lot of money for something like a mic and headset...but something about the way the cheaper ones sit on your ears will make you scream after a little while. Balandar
I'm using the Corsair HS1 as well. I looked at the logitech, but I need something that covers my ears completely and that is SOFT. The hard leather ones hurts my ears as I wear glasses and it pushes in on them.
Vevielle
I currently have a TurtleBeach EarForceHPA2, except my current set up in my apartment does not enable me to hook it up properly to my surround hub. That, and the microphone jack is broken anywho =( so i'd have to get a stand-alone desktop mic. BLARGH
Corellon
The headset that I use, it's an old Logitec, has a USB connection. From what I see at most places that carry headset mic combinations, they have at least one that is of a USB variety. Balander is right though, get yourself one that covers the ears, smaller ones get uncomfortable to wear after a while. They may look dorky, but the sound and comfort are the best. robinj
I have a logitech g330, cost me about $20 I think.. sounds good for voice stuff, but weights the ears just a bit... a lot more comfortable than my previous pair and I don't like the circumaural type to begin with.
