Balandar
EA has "probably" invested close to half a billion dollars in Star Wars: The Old Republic. http://www.computerandvideogames.com/332650/ea-probably-invested-500-million-in-the-old-republic/ That's according to Cowen & Company analyst Doug Creutz, who told MarketWatch: "I think it's safe to say that the total all-in investment in Star Wars is probably approaching half a billion dollars. "EA has minimised its risks as much as it can on this bet, but it's still a risky bet. To the extent that any one game defines his tenure, it's going to be how Star Wars performs." Vevielle
That sounds like a ridiculous amount of money!!! I guess, when you think about this list of voice actors (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1320395/fullcredits) it would certainly add up! Not to mention all the cinematic work, advertising, testing... sheesh! It's a lot of work to make a game as involved as a single player RPG, an MMO like SWTOR is a whole nother ballgame.
