Martok Posted February 1, 2012 Share Posted February 1, 2012 From TorWars Ian Abercrombie, who did the voice acting for Emperor Palpatine on the Star Wars Animated Clone Wars TV Series, has died at age 77. Abercrombie has a pretty extensive acting history, with previous roles in Army of Darkness, Seinfield, and Rango. The Washington Post, quoting Dave Filoni, a supervising director for the Clone Wars, had some words on Mr. Abercrombie’s passing, check the quote below: “Though he played a villain on our show, you would be hard pressed to meet a kinder person, He loved to laugh and his sense of humor always lightened our record sessions.
