Balandar
This is from the GW2 site on facebook: "We have sold out of keys for digital distribution in North America. GameStop and Best Buy still have stock available. We limit sales to ensure we have enough capacity for our customers. We're likely to have capacity available after the initial crunch at the start of the weekend. Players who purchase when we're able to resume digital sales at buy.guildwars2.com will still be able to play for the remainder of the weekend. ~RB2" If you buy from Best Buy or Game Stop, make sure to pre-purchase and NOT pre-order. Here are some qutoes from GW2 on twitter: We do not sell pre-orders, only pre-purchase, and we do not have an ETA for you on that. ^RB Only pre-purchase guarantees access to the beta events, not pre-order. ^MK If you pre-ordered, you do not get access to the Beta Weekend Event. If you pre-PURCHASED, you need to work w/ GameStop. ^RB And from the GW2 support site: Q: Guild Wars 2 Pre-Purchase Availability in Retail Stores A: "Please be aware that it is the retailer’s discretion as to whether they will be offering the Guild Wars 2 Pre-Purchase that includes the pre-purchase box or serial code (with all of the pre-release benefits), or simply a reservation for Guild Wars 2 when it is released. To obtain the pre-purchase benefits, such as access to the beta weekend events, the Head Start access, and the Hero’s Band, you’ll need to obtain a pre-purchase serial code. Some retailers are providing this "digitally" on your pre-purchase receipt, or they are giving an actual pre-purchase box that has a serial code inside it. If you did not receive a pre-purchase box or a serial code when you placed your order, please contact the retailer to discuss which type of pre-purchase you placed, and what possible resolutions they may be able to provide if you did not receive the type you wanted. We do not have pre-purchase codes to provide."
