For my necro... playing around with it still. The traits are primarily to help in death shroud. I am taking signets for my utility skills for the passive properties. I have one trait to lower recharge on signets as well. The staff as the second weapon is more for range than anything else unless I have a Ele nearby that can drop me a bow to use. Then I may do a close range dagger/warhorn setup.
