Fansite Collective Interview + Building Blocks Video

Today we're featuring a Q&A from three fansites! These questions were provided by EQN-RP.com, EQN Russia, and MMOScope.

EQN-RP.com is a Roleplay Community site. Their site features forums, chat channels, and a wiki for roleplaying characters. You can also follow their site on Twitter.

EQN-RP: Can two or more cooperative players connect two or more plots via caves, or underground tunnels?

Dev Team: This would depend where their claims are relative to each other, and what permissions they set, but in theory yes if their plots are adjacent.

EQN-RP: Will we be able to add environmental effects to our creations? Like fog, mist, haunting sound effects like creaking boards and ghostly moans?

Dev Team: We should have a limited number of effects as early as Alpha, including items that emit smoke, and small plants that include particle effects like flocks of butterflies. The beauty of Landmark being an MMO is the constant development after launch. Eventually, you’ll be able to do everything that we can do.

We also have one question each from two International fansites! EQN Russia has forums, media, and news updates posted in Russian. MMOScope is a French site that translates news and videos, and features polls and forums for community participation.

EQN Russia: Is it possible to build constructions in the water, underground, in the air?

Dev Team: There are some details we still need to work out such as (for example) the best way to allow you and visitors to reach a claim high in the air, but that is the ultimate intention we are working towards.

MMOScope: If we put furniture and objects in a house or in a castle, is it possible for people visiting it to "steal" things or are they "glued" to the house?

Dev Team: Nobody can move or take anything within your claim unless you explicitly grant them permissions to do so.
