Balandar
Graphics issues can occur due to a number of reasons. Before doing anything else, you will need to make sure that your system meets or exceeds the minimum requirements for playing ArcheAge. If you are running the game on a system that does not meet the minimum requirements, you will most likely encounter graphical anomalies along with many other potential problems with the game. The minimum system requirements for ArcheAge are listed below: Minimum System Specifications Processor: Intel Core2 Duo or higher Hard Disk: 30 GB (NTFS-formatted disk) Memory: 2 GB RAM Graphics card: Geforce 8000 series or higher, Radeon HD 4000 series or higher, with at least 512MB video memory Operating system: 32-bit or 64-bit, Windows XP SP3, Vista SP1, Win7 SP1 If your system just meets or barely exceeds the minimum requirements, then it is possible that your video settings within the game may be set too high. You may want to lower your in-Game video settings Lowering In-Game Video SettingsMany crashing issues can stem from your PC not being able to handle the stress of running ArcheAge. The weak link can be your video card, processor, memory or even your power supply. But lowering the video settings will help put less strain on your system and often times alleviate crashing issues. Follow the steps below to lower your video settings in-game Press Esc to open the menu Select Options from the menu In the Options window under Screen Settings, click on the Quality option on the left side of the window. In the Quality Video options, move the Graphics Quality Settings slider all the way to the left to where it is set to Low and click Apply Try playing the game like this for a while to see if the problem continues to occur. If the problem no longer occurs, you will want to try moving the Quality Preset slider back to the right and test each setting to find the best balance of video quality with no crashing issues. Changing DirectX from 11 to 9In some cases, adjusting the version of DirectX that ArcheAge uses can clear up graphics issues. To change your DirectX version from 11 to 9, use the following steps: Press Esc to open the menu Select Options from the menu In the Options window under Screen Settings, click on the Screen option on the left side of the window. In the Screen Settings - Screen options, click DirectX 9 version and click Apply You can switch your version back to DirectX 11 at any time using the above steps.
