Borg
I was fortunate enough to have both of my questions answered during the recent Dev Team Telethon for SHROUD OF THE AVATAR. The first one was about looting dead players and if the ability to "HEAD HUNT" them like in old UO days of collecting heads would be possible......this we found out was RIGHT UP RICHARDS (Lord British) alley!!! (he actually shows a recent purchase moments later in the video that arrives at his door in Texas) http://youtu.be/Y261it1NlFs?t=1h7m35s Second question was about JOUSTING since we did an epic job of creating Jousting in Ultima Online starting in Catskills and being duplicated by many across all shards....this one hit home with Starr (Lord Blackthorn)...to the extent he committed to making jousting an option for the release....he was also very happy and looks forward to "Coconut Jousting" (they are going to modify the existing coconut toy to become a PvP option to allow horse galloping to accompany a Jousting lance for players to run at each other and score points....thats the idea) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y261it1NlFs&feature=youtu.be&t=4h14m Horses and mounted Combat is a stretch goal not reached and currently thus is not in plans for Episode 1 game launch.....that could change though if they meet goal. at 4hrs and 3 minutes is another interesting statement of what games inspire them currently......UO, Galaxies and Arche Age .....interesting. If anyone seeks to join this game engine...please use Borg@TheHonorEmpire.org as your referral....each referral gives us $25 credit We are seeking to raise funds to purchase a guild town (which we control taxes) and guild Lord Hall. Borg
BEST MMO @ E3 2014 BEST INDIE MMO @ E3 2014 BEST NEW CONCEPT from TenTon Hammer A perfect example is making crafting matter (finally). Items crafted by players will no longer be vendor fodder or the crappier equivalent of quest rewards. Instead, items that players create will be baked into the loot table of creatures out in the world bearing the original seal of the person who created it. So...for all you crafters....create a good weapon and it will become valuable to evil and monsters will seek it out...and YOUR creations will become part of the loot tables...items showing YOUR NAME!!!
