Balandar
http://www.themadhermitgaming.com/shroud-of-the-avatar-housing-guide/ ^ For all the homes you can buy irl or ingame. As for me I have the Edelmann pledge that gives the village deed so I would more then gladly help out with any guild town community establishment. Edelmann, nice! Welcome to the addiction! We'll have to get Borg to update his diagram with your location. Any ideas what you would want to do? I have limited game time, so I can't run an active establishment. My tower will be a knight's keep, but I'll make it look wizardly with an arena basement (already purchased it). Maybe keep some minions down there. And I bought the pavillian, another passive location, for all of our workbenches. The castle lot is HUGE.
Borg
Edelmann Level would be good for a Bartender since it gives you special Brewing ability of beer.....just remember Sindee.....Bars are the #1 visited site for all towns player or npc...running it will come close to a part time job of sorts....but will gain relations with the other players and "ROYALS" (our name for DEV and POLATARIUM Team members)...since they have committed to frequenting these locations. Tie in our JOUSTING connection...and we should be very busy interaction wise, event wise and simple social fun wise. There are 3 other areas in between ORCHARD and FIELDS n LIVESTOCK areas that we are hoping for special housing from members interested in a more targeted role within the guild/HOLD..... VIKING HOME = So to speak caretaker of Livestock (Leatherworker and Animal resource items) WIND MILL HOME = So to speak caretaker of Agriculture foods etc (Harvesting) WIZARD HOME = So to speak Lead Alchemist, Mage, Reagents etc These 3 would be the go to places for such items and/or Vendors maintained and stories written around such. Rumblebore has the green light to be our SMITHY Lead as he has put 100s of hours into the Alpha in such.....he also is most knowledgeable for most crafting tricks....he and Wolf are experts. Remember everyone can be whatever they want.....the above listings are ideas and plans we have for key interactive high RP roles within the guild that we want to support with as much layout (dev created) within our Player owned Town to really help the player enjoy and benefit the experience within the game engine. Rumblebore
Borg, Is the attached Thumbnail what you were referring to when you said "First off here is the document I am submitting with the Player Town proposal for our......HONOR HOLD". ? It is a good looking document so whomever put it together, KUDOS!!. The 4 lots in the lower left - what size are those? I see 12, not 11, lots about the same size including the pavilion so that suggests it is a Village Size lot. I see three similar lots up near the Orchard which I think you have explained. One in the bottom right near the rest of the lots. And 4 more lower left. Are all of these the ones that are to be used by the Devs, or can I claim one of them? And is Sindees Eidelmann one of the smaller lots bottom right? Assuming one of the lower left lots (Row lots) I will find a nice row sized home, preferably of mostly stone and of 2 story. Otherwise if one of the Village sized lots are available, I will want to get a Knight-sized home instead. I am thinking a bit about the Dwarven Blacksmith's lore and will try to have a rough sketch later today.
Balandar
The 4 empty ones in the lower left are village lots. Same by the orchard. The row lots are the bottom right where you see tons of little lots. Bal's House and Wolf's house are village sized. Borg is the only one I know of that has a town lot pledge. Citizen is the first pledge level with a tax free lot. Or you can buy lots in game and pay gold for upkeep and taxes. Due to my limited game time, I went the pledge route. Sindee has a village lot as an Edelemann. I would guess that would be the village lot near the row houses? Or is that the pavillion Borg? I forget. All of the blank lots are available to claim. So if you want a village lot for your dwarven hold let Borg know and he can update the pic. Or donate a ton of $$$ to get a larger town. Ha! I can't guarantee I will always be able to put in the hours every day for it. But I would not mind having co-owners or bar tenders On a side note what building did you want for the tavern? Borg
Rumble...Knight size is Village.....same as Bals and Wolfs....so we basically have 4 non-planned Village...if your going Knight Tower with Blacksmith theme....probably the first one near the Officers Barracks? Then your vendor could be near entrance to Hold area? Pick one Rumble...and I will note it. The ROYALS (Dev spots) are the two linked to the Lysts on the "southern" wall (or up at top of image)....I am hoping they build something nice for themselves. One sorta for Lord British (more Virtuous) and one for Lord Blackthorn (more Religious).....which will look to be the two main faction sides of sorts in game...hence why I gave them each a Pillar of the Jousting Arch to display their colors and as champions occur they will have declared one side or other ....or none...then they wont appear on Pillars past Champions.but instead become like a STAR on Walk of FAME and would have a stone CoAs on the road from archway to the Lysts. I am not sure on this at all.....but in discussions with Starr....>Balandar (yes you) and I will hope to win over all our design goals and then push for even more.... Water housing locations in Lake Dupre.....NOTE: This would mean losing ROW houses....1 Village = 4 Row spots......we would give up 12 row house spots and gain 4 water locations for players. THIS TOPIC Is the BENEFIT OF getting donations enough to upgrade our town to the next size larger..... HAMLET $700 more needed..............gains us 7,200 sq feet of Lots....(1 Town, 22 Village....36 Row)......IFF we compare to our HOLD Plan. (1Town, 11 Village, 36 Row)..........we gain 11 Village lots more. Note: 1 Village is used for Balandars ADD ON Pavillion...in HAMLET we get to use another ADD ON...so we only gain 10 more village spots since 1 would be used for an add on. ALSO....Hamlet gives us another NPC Building to choose......currently we have chosen BANK......could choose another. Here is the Updated Player Owned Town grid of pricing from SotA (attached image
Borg
Rumble....this Village size kinda looks like it would be a Blacksmith....if not of Dwarvin lore....sorta.... Rustic 3-Story Village Home (digital)1/2 PRICE SALE: Available at 50% off the regular $90 price Sindee....... The idea was the 3 story buidling shown in picture for the Bar/Brothel and future casino (cellar)

Rumblebore
Borg. I will be getting an Edelmann. Dwarves want to stay near the gropund and will open the underground to hid whimsy's. Please select the farthest left of the 4 bottom left for me, Village lots. Meaning Xv vv, where X is me and V are the other 4 lots. Logic is based on roleplaying. Rumble and his sister like their privacy to an extent and that puts them a bit more away from the crowds and closer to the mountains, and those private caverns underground. Working on gathering funds to get the tax free house if still available. Thanks. Rough backstory. Rumbles family used to mine the local caverns before they opened a fissure into a nest/set of underground caverns with a host of nasties. Valianty trying to close the cavern up they were overwhelmed and most of their family fell to the horde. essentially dispossessed of their cave home, Brannd and Rumble were found by the knights of LordB who were loking for a place to set a new fort along the river. They helped to strike back at the horde but the damage and infestation remained and while some success was made, the caverns are mostly boarded shut with warnings and a regular patrol to watch out for the strays rising to the surface. (PS - could even be an underground crypt whose original entrance was covered by a landslide and the breach made was the first in ages). Since effectively Rumbles family claimed the land, there is a certain agreement that they can retain title and free rent here in Honor Hold and share their smithing and trade skills among the Humans. Also, there are caved in underground mining shafts in these hills which Rumble and Brannd lay claim to yet pesky fortune hunters find ways to try and loot them when they can. Folks who successfully mine specifc ores of great value and turn them in to Brannd might receive benefits ( faction, points for honesty, etc) and perhaps Brannd will forge a nice weapon or armor of the material; once their status as an Avatar reaches a certain point. I plan on making the outdoor area of the Edelmann a work area. yes I would like a merchant but maybe I can add one later if game features allow such a thing. Great news all!! Balandar
They also are saying once all POT town spots are taken, towns can always allow other towns to be build underground. I believe some are already planning this.
Rumblebore
Would be fun to find a solid metal door in Rumble basement with limited access for anyone, which leads to an underground mined-out dwarven cave system of a town....
Balandar
You should buy the village basement that is made up of caverns. It's on sale now too.

Rumblebore
OK I have the Edelmann digital home, the 5 story Basement (Mine) Balandar showed above, The Ornate Riverstone Fence (Tall) to put around the property, and Fallow Granite Pavers to use outside. Right now I am not seeing much else to add in but I will keep looking. TheMadHermit did a video on this basement that had workbenches on one level and that looked marvelous. Room to build that is for sure. I also got a White Raven. In Dennis L McKienan's Mithgar series of novels, There are some stories about the Dwarves. To take one thing from them, some dwarves lived under Ravenor, a mountain commonly called Stormhelm. My Coat of Arms is going to have Ravanar on it, with a raven (if possible), a Helm and lightning bolts, an axe and hammer, and the banner " Chakka Shok y Cor". Or as close as I can get to it. Also seriously considering a wishing well to put out in front. Such fun.
Balandar
Awesome. Sounds like it will be a dwarven home for sure! I went with the tall ivy covered fence and the coyote pavestones and the wishing well (it was for charity).
Borg
Here is the link to the OFFICIAL SotA Coat of Arms system they have set up and will use in-game for ROYAL FOUNDER player designs. (Use the same email as your SotA account but a different password !!!) If you are NOT a ROYAL FOUNDER.... This will allow you to display your CoA in the FORUMS.......hopefully in future there may be a way to get it in game.....maybe winning a JOUSTING EVENT? eheheh http://sotacoa.com The Shroud Forums area https://www.shroudoftheavatar.com/forum/index.php?forums/the-college-of-arms.102/ Attached is what I have set up for Borg Stonewall personal and also the guild. Borg showing his smithing background, Sword and Chalice of Honor Guild showing HONOR Chalice, Sword of the Fallen and the Compass on the Tip of sword...meaning HONOR always directs us in the TRUE correct bearing and direction. Colors of Black/Sable signify HONOR, TRUTH, COMMITMENT TO FAMILY.....the Sanguine meaning the HONORable Blood we spill of our own and of the enemy (redish purple much better than florescent purple option)
Borg
Currently they are not planning GUILDS to have CoAs but it is a constant discussion ....perhaps an achievement to reach for .

Balandar
With the release of R19 a lot more land opened up. This is the aprox location of where we would like to place our holdfast.
Borg
The bottom picture....imagine the Hold Cut into that mountain Balandar is standing on with the LYST level and guild house level being the highest level inside the hold.. If you were sitting in the Royal Box area of the Jousting Lysts you would get the last glimpse of the sunset in the west across the water. It was quite cool to see the other day happen. Behind the Hold is an area that leads to the Volcano fields and also nearby is a swamp which we will call Swamp of Souls (just like in UO there is the Swamps to the north of Trinsic) In honor of Jon Snyder we are RP naming the short river way to the Bay of Storms (in top pic) you can see the small river leading to our town location mountain. In our plans we hope they will incorporate it somehow showing the river coming thru past Honor Hold to the swamp behind the mountain....we shall see. Borg
UP TO DATE Informaton about HONOR HOLD (planned layout and options for anyone interested in the ROLES that will come with lot in our town..Player must aquire/buy building and or abilities in skills during gameplay NOTE: an ALDERMAN PRE LAUNCH player pledge is best for whomever steps up for the Bar/Brothel/Casino Manager/Owner Role......Alderman=Beer crafting ability (only avail prelaunch)... HIGHEST RP ROLE in Guild and must be active and willing to run events for guild, coordinate with outher guilds and ROYALS(Devs) when required often FYI Given our role in game will be home to all JOUSTING stuff....and ROYALS commitment to FREQUENTLY be visiting player towns and Bars etc.....the Bar owner will be HUGE in our RP with game designers. YES is the answer to the most popular question sent to me....we can upgrade our size of Player owned Town...they have a donation system in place you can buy credits and then donate/gift/send to another person. Borg@TheHonorEmpire.org is where to send any credit donations or any purchasable items. (as any donations come in I will update the image at the beginning of this thread)
