Borg Posted March 1, 2003 Share Posted March 1, 2003 Publishing Fixes to Lake Superior Feb 28 2003 2:37PM CST (GMT -06:00) We will be publishing an update to the Lake Superior shard that will be active after that shard’s Saturday morning maintenance period. This publish will contain the following fixes: A number of server optimizations and fixes. Note: this includes a fix for the largest cause of shard lag & instability. Customized house doors will no longer become “static” and unusable. This fix will also retroactively fix any doors currently affected by this issue. If no issues arise, we anticipate rolling this out to all other AoS-active shards, except for the Atlantic shard, as of their respective Monday morning maintenance periods. (We are currently monitoring the Atlantic shard regarding other fixes, and if no issues arise there then Atlantic will also receive this publish). Note: Characters that log in with spellbooks (“classic” spellbooks only, not runebooks, Necromancy, or Chivalry books) in their bankboxes may see them transferred into their backpacks, but if their backpacks are full these spellbooks will subsequently drop to the ground.
