Winter Wind
Mr Tact posted on the stratics forums the exact luck formula: Luck translates directly into a % chance to get a bump in number of items, number of item props and property intensity. The % is calculated very simply: it's luck ^ ( 1/1.8 ), which ends up being slightly better than the square root. As you know, luck maxes out at 1200, which gives you roughly a 51% chance of getting the bump. MrTact Then wilki24 (UOstratics poster) posted this handy table showing us the different pecentages: I figured I'd make a table, and post it here since we Bards certainly can use more luck! Luck Chance for better item 100 13 % 200 19 % 300 24 % 400 28 % 500 32 % 600 35 % 700 38 % 800 41 % 900 44 % 1000 46 % 1100 49 % 1200 51 % ------------------------------------------ Anybody seem to think this means luck is just a waste of time? kodoz
the thing is, you can get kickass items off crap critters with no luck. but the fact is if you had luck, that item wouldve been even better. or perhaps youd get another item along with that.
