Ok here we go. I have been grping with people that used to be in SLoT alot lately. I am finding it hard to imagine why they were booted. Then it occured to me that I am always left outta the loop. I read the post constantly to keep apprised. I was the one who suggested the slotofficers channel so we could keep in constant contact so no one gets left out (so far my only good contribution to guild hehe). All Im saying is I realized that I didn't know half these people had even been removed and for what? Until I looked up and had to ask why their guild tag was missing. This has been happening alot to me lately. Maybe I am on at the wrong hours. But honestly I am starting to worry it is something lacking in my character that you all see that I dont. Didn't know about Vale, the long ongoing deal with Galdin, etc and the last really stung because at first I thought you hadn't told me because you where worried that if me and Galdin got up steam alot of people would leave with us. I wouldn't do that anyhow but point is thats better than the alternative which is I think I may not be that trusted. I mean come on people some of the biggest looongest problems with people we have and I'm oblivious!? How? Anyways I'm posting because all of the sudden all of this stuff that I have been learning about sometimes weeks after others is all hitting me. I love this guild and I realize I don't bring alot to the table as an officer but I appreciate and respect the office. I just hope that is goin both ways because I am getting abit worried although it could be alot of oddball circumstances adding up that I just somehow happened to miss. I could be over reacting but many of u know what I am talking about. I am always asking what the hell is going on. Anyways, um thats it.

I am the newest officer lol, but I dont think that it has anything to do with you. From what I have seen with people being removed from guild and leaving the guild, it just is not discussed much. Both cases are something that should be discussed. and there should be a forum on officers page for ppl that have been remove or have disbanded from guild.

For ppl that where removed from guild the reasons behind why they where removed should be posted for future reference

For ppl that left guild on there own, an officer should speak with them in tells as to why they have left the guild and the information provided by the person should be posted for possible use towards guild improvement

I'm the 2nd newest officer, and have only been in the guild a little over a month. However, I don't feel like I'm out of the loop. I knew about the thing concerning Galdin, and wasn't surprised he was asked to leave (he wasn't very nice to me anyway). Valetorix, on the other hand, has been a good friend to me in the game, and it was a very hard decision for him to leave. He thought it over and fought with himself, but in the end felt that it was for the best. Apparently, his, um.. straightfowardness got in the way. And Wally, I have put this chat channel into effect. I thought it would be a great idea for alts who aren't in the guild, as well as people on EQIM and other servers, to keep in tough with the guild. I have made a guildmotd about it and the channel name is slotfriends. It hasn't seemed to get a big response yet, but hopefully it will catch one once people see the benefit. One thing I see about this guild, is that we have great ideas, but they just remain ideas. Things need to be acted upon as soon as they are approved, which is why I'm glad that Rumblebore went ahead with the Work Day as soon as he did. I'm on a lot, and can answer any questions concerning the guild that one might have missed. Rumblebore and Leanessa hadn't received news of the new password, so I sent them an email. I don't believe in procrastination (well at least for anything non-school related) and we need to see more action! Ok, well I think I've strayed from the topic enough

To clear one thing, Galdin was not asked to leave, he left on his own. I wont go into the details, it is done and over with. I have grumbled and complained about this many, many, many times...we need better communication between the officers. I sometimes get alittle ticked and make my presence very well known and its almost time for my "witchy" side to come out again. The guild has made alot of good strides lately, we have a cleric with Aego, and a chanter with KEI finally. It has taken us awhile to get here but were doing it. I can see us as a upper guild very soon if we can keep going the way we are.

At times, we all feel like we are in the dark but thats when you have to stop, stomp your foot and speak up. If you dont understand something, ask...If you dont agree with something...speak up. Everyones opinons matter in this guild.

alot of the time when something like a removal is talked about in officer chat....the ppl that were involve in the chat are statisfied and...well,kinda forget about it...

i had brought up the removal post for the officer forum,but honestly,i know of so few removals....that it almost seems pointless...but i think that it should prolly be posted anyway...whether it is under it's own posting or under the invite posting(which we do have....it may have fallen off the map...very few invites lately,almost none other than alts i think)

I think posting would be fine but my point was that somehow I am getting left outta the loop. Alt said she knew about Galdin. THATS my point how do all these decisions get made that I dont find out about. Yes its over and done with but THAT is not the point either. All of the things that were bugging me are over and done with. Its like I just noticed that all these people have left or removed and had no idea. I feel STUPID asking someone where their guildtag is...and find out that they left or what not. Saite got what I was saying. Point is I want to KNOW what is going on. I think it is essential to guild health. So as for Hinil's idea of posts I think that would work great since I check this page everyday whether I play or not. Thanks for your time.

well i know of very few people who were removed as well i think it would be a great idea to have a forum. Wally please let me know who you have talked to recently that was removed

Ok once again it seems I have posted and no one understood it. I posted an amendment to original post and i still got people who dont understand. Strip away all the other crap in that huge post and admendment and its is about COMMUNICATION between officers. It doesnt matter if they were removed or left on their own. Its the fact that lately I have been running across lack of communication as I posted in my admendment to the original post......( I feel STUPID when I ask someone where their tag is and they say they left or what not....) Now to we all get it loll. I hope so but I have posted so many times I feel like I am beating a dead horse now. Lets just improve communication is all....if something notable happened and I wasnt on pls....send me a tell....get me in officer channel... hehe just so I know what is going on. Again thanks for your time.

One thing I do is if I see someone around who I think, or thought, was in the guild i call up the handy dandy guild management tool before i ask anything. That's usually how I work though. I always try to figure out things first before I ask a person.. hehe so if I don't have to talk to them, I won't. But that's just my way of handling it.
