As Kodoz sat in his new office, he sighed. He reread the two letters for the fifth time. The one was scratched out with a barbed claw, from the Solen queen. He admired that she had figured out English almost as much as he admired her humility throughout the letter. It appeared that the Solens were on the verge of extinction because they had no pure water. She pleaded with the honorable guild to keep her race from extinction. She even gave Kodoz a slight gift, for free, showing just how desperate they were. The other was from the citizens of Yew. Kodoz himself had performed the purification ceremony once himself. The letter from Yew told him what his efforts had done. It had not only helped out the Solens with their water and cleaned up Yew. Whole farms were going to ruin due to the swampy state enforced by the Juka, former invaders that PGoH was key in their defeat. Kodoz wrote out a note to Imperator Steel and Emperor Logan, asking for permission to fix this problem. He sends it away via pigeon and readies himself for the ordeal. Once again we were asked to go to war for other beings, merely to do honors duty. Once again Yew is on the line. Will you be the one to help? Will you be able to say as some of us do, “that was me who helped defeat the ruinations of a city?” Will you answer the call?
