Hothgorn TheBlack
So, I log into Sb to find that I am now at a errent location. I run to Vigilance destroyed.....Now, if anyone knows about this game, the tree just doesn't die, the walls don't destroy themselves. This, from what I've been told, is a bug. The CCR wants to talk to someone who does city maintenance to confirm it.(any takers?). Now to the other news. Brotherhood of Shadow joined Undead Lords, and nearly crushed Fas Est. Fas Est is not baned yet......yet..... Lex Talonis FELL today to Undead Lords. Their capitol, Cornerstone lost its tree, and they put their own tree in its place. This happend even thought an alliance of many guilds came to help. That did not seem to matter. I spent about 3 hours hanging around with Fas Est people at UDL's "Bane" tree location (this is where they were respawing at when they died at Lex), and proceeded to kill as many of them as we could. The "bane" tree has some 25 hours (its currently 8:20 gmt/saturday)until the TOL becomes vulnerable.
Martok
This is so crazy. I tried to get a hold of a CCR in game... no luck. I will try again tomorrow.
Martok
Forget it. I am done with SB. There was no bane, our maint was paid for. Tree is in flames, all walls are destroyed. CCR not helping, don't understand that. /sigh As I am heading into Galaxies anyways, who wishes to take over The Vigilant Guard?
Balandar
This is just total BS. With all of the damn bugs, SERIOUS bugs... bah. I am going to leave SB as well.
Jas
This royally sucks. I have no confidence in the CCR to fix it, either (and why would I? They've given me no cause to have faith in them). I'll try to play once my visitors leave (tomorrow). We'll see what it's like then. Jas

Chris
LT is not destroyed. The nation still stands, as do several LT cities. The walls of Cornerstone are still under our control, so we can use the gate locks to our advantage. It's time for ALL guilds and nations who wish to fight the good fight to stand united as one or fall alone.
Hothgorn TheBlack
I didn't mean that they were destroyed Chris, only defeted. From what I can tell, Undead Lords numbers are increasing hourly. They're bigger than Fas, and they can manage to get more than 100 people on at a time. Most of which I've seen are lv 55+. This is why they are so effective. They can get a large number of people on. Fas Est, at most had about 30 on, including sub guilds. We had to fight wave after wave, yet still managed. If you really want to defeat them, they have down times where they try and earn money.....(attacking everybody costs). Attack them while they are farming. They won't expect it, and they'll be at a loss for the missing funds. I find this a solution to be the easiest. As for Vigilant Guard, well, that bug couldn't come at a worse time. I'm afraid that if the core of the guild is leaving, there is no sense in having a guild in SB. I'll probably Hang in SB until my account is up, and proceed to SWG also. Sigh....all that wasted time.....
Chris
Just because most of the officers leave for another game doesnt mean the guild can't survive.
Hothgorn TheBlack
Oh, yes it can Chris, I've had the same thing happen before. And for your viewing displeasure: http://www.undeadlords.org/gallery/sb?&page=
Martok
Those that wish to stay in Shadowbane will be given control of the guild. Don't want to see everything that was worked for go away (although the CCR's ensured most of it did).
Chris
I still say you oughta move to Amhas Cairn *nodnod*
Martok
I have been waiting for a CCR for 2 hours now. I planted a new tree (I had a seed in the bank from when we were going to move the city) I doubt they will help with the walls and everything else though. Very very frustrating. Chris
just move to LT, live in Amhas Cairn where politicians fear to tread, and farm up massive ammounts of gold to eventually build a really good city worthy of the guild (and plenty of r6 characters while you're at it)
Howarde
Well, I'll be in SB for some time to come. I'm one of those fools that paid for a year in advance Hakemal is 53 dwarf/warrior needing a home. He is currently staying at the Inn in Khar guilded to one of the 3 player-run guild choices that the runemaster at the ruins ToL gave which was close to Khar . Hakemal would like either a re-invite to TVG to help maintain and/or build up the new city.. -or- as a member of Sanguine Wild or other LT guild/sub-guild willing to fight off the new evil empire. My 2 other most played characters on Mourning also will need a home. 34 Human Mage/Channeler - Ptolemaeus .. and 20 Human Priest - Medowyn Howarde, my 48 Minotaur/Barbarian also needs a home, but I'm not as concerned with him for the time being... I still plan to get into SWG, but won't abandon SB completely due to the year subscription.
Martok
Howarde, get with me. We will need a new guild leader for TVG. *looks at Howarde*

Howarde
Gotcha Boss! .. I'll be online most as often as I can this week around work. Early morrnings (before 8am Pacific) and evenings (After 7pm Pacific). Looks like a new alliance has been put together "Keepers of the Word" that include FE, LT, Kry'Havac, and others. I'm thinkin to stay neutral til this war passes over, but Vigilance is sandwiched in between the the 2 sides. I would make decisions for the survivability of TVG overall. I'll look for you on line Talshiar, or point me to an IRC chat to monitor and I can have that up on my other PC while playing. If online, look for Hakemal, Ptolemaeus, Medowyn, or Howarde Howarde is my only tracker (with BH and Huntsman) and makes for a item mule. I'll be lookin for ya... -Hakem/Howie/Ptol/Medo

Chris
I'm thinkin to stay neutral til this war passes over, but Vigilance is sandwiched in between the the 2 sides. I would make decisions for the survivability of TVG overall. All that is needed for evil to prosper is for good people to do nothing. If the alliance is destroyed do you honestly think they won't eventually come after TVG? They're not going to stop until they're driven out or there's nobody left to grief. It's a simple fact. Martok
I actually agree with Chris on this one. TVG is already crumbled pretty bad, along side Fas Est. Would be wise to team up against them.
Howarde
I also agree with Chris here, but .... I also think we're too close to the enemy, or rather they have moved themselves and their tree "In our face", too close to us. I don't feel safe, and I think it will be quite difficult recruiting new members if they know UDL is a stone's throw away from our friendly city. I'll be contacting SW's IC to see if there isn't something we can do about our current predicament. Gonna try to bring back some fun in this game for us all -- Hakemal
Hothgorn TheBlack
Congrats Howarde/Hakemal. I'm still in game also for a little while. So, I'll see ya in game.
