Prometheus
I don't know if anyone else got affected by this blackout, but man, this was an interesting 2 days. I count myself as lucky having only gone without power for about 28 hours. Anyone else get affected by this?
Coldren
Yes. I however am close to the Canadian border, so I got power much faster.. Was only without power for about 5 hellish hours.. Good time to read.
Triston
Fortunatly Texas was spared that little bit of fun (we get our very own power grid ) A co-worker of mine was on vacation in NYC thought, so I look forward to his return safely. I have hopes hell have many interesting stories for us. *smiles*
Wolf
Living outside of Toronto I was out for about 12hours which wasn't too bad, but pretty freaky experience seeing a big city completely dark like that.
Rusty
I live near Ann Arbor, MI so I got affected pretty good, it was nice considering i work for domino's so no power no ovens so we couldnt work. Main thing that sucked was that my store ended up being down so long i had to dump my entire inventory so i threw out about 900 dollars in food. My brother was lucky enough that his store got power in time to save most of his cooler.
LukkanMortain
Well IM from Wash D.C. and just moved to Tennesee, so I got no involvement in the blackout, but I do get harassed by the rednecks everytime I step outside without something camoflauged on me. Does that count?
