Synthania (thats me) hehehe and Rebma decided to Revive Mystic Legions with Novawops approval. Mystic Legions is now 119 members strong (alts are included of course) and still growing. After many misses and long waits Eldoran and I finally caught each other and he agreed to allow Mystic Legions to have the website since he didnt need it anymore. Balandar in his generous Kindess (kissing up here a bit) has agreed to have everything changed over to us Mystic Legions has in two months probably 10 epic mob kills and 1 epiced monk to our name. We rock any zone we enter and love to group together. Rebma Posted August 23, 2003 Share Posted August 23, 2003 Well I'm happy that we got this site, I loved using it when it was Slot's , cause its easy to use and well laid out. And as mommy of this family, I gotta say I'm proud of how well everyone gets along and listens, I have alot of fun with all of you, and I hope we never lose our family type atmoshpere. This is why we aren't in madd race to be an Uber teir guild guys. When guilds get greedy and want power, power, power, they become too business like and lose their sense of family type friendship. We do some day want to be running around the planes and wreaking havic tho, don't get me wrong, but its not gonna happen overnight. We're taking it slow, and just having fun with the guild and enjoying each others company and grouping to get leveled up for right now. We want to do as many old world raids as we can successfully do to get everyones listening skills honed and learn how each other fights and learn to fight as a whole, and perhaps once we get things down pat and can just go into zones and wipe, wipe, wipe, we'll be good enough to move onward and upward. I'm currently a level 53 WE Ranger, but plan on switching to be a 57 Ogre Bard. I was previously an officer in Sacred Legion of Tunare. Prior to that I was an officer in Mystic Legions when Novawop was the guild leader, before we merged with SLoT. I switched my mains about two years ago from Lolanya to a dwarven cleric named Baldaek. He was also an officer in SLoT before joining his present guild, Formidable, 15 months ago. I also have Jasmen, a 46 Druid (as of last night), and Shansa, a 54 Monk. There are others, but they have been either temporarily retired or placed on sabbatical so I can concentrate on the named 4. On the RL front, I have an almost 4 month old who has been taking up a great deal of my time, as expected and desired so I was not readily available during the early part of the ML resurgence. I will, however, be more available as time goes on (weekends excluded), until such time that our house sells and we move - in the next few months we hope. My husband has the ability and knowledge to play any and all of my characters, and often does when I can't be on, yet does not want his own account so don't ask anymore (He had an account on the zebux server some 3 years ago and decide one day to suicide in Veeshan's Peak, died on a raid there and let his corpse rot). I have been addicted to EQ for 3 years now, but have been playing for 4 years. I have some knowledge of what's happening, what's happened, and where to find out if I don't know. Use me as a resource. My official RL job title is Senior Technical Support Analyst - I fix PC's, peripherals, and networking components and have been doing so for about 8 years. Use me as a resource. (Until last night) I belong to 3 guilds (now 2), subscribe to 7 EQ newsletters/web boards, am a regular poster on EQtraders and Allakhazam's, and support 4 websites with yearly financial donations to help keep them going. Presently, I am splitting my on-line time between Baldaek and Lolanya/Jasmen. Baldaek's guild is currently in pursuit of the Elemental zones in PoP and is officially 1 god away. It is through Baldaek that I have knowledge of many practices, events, loots, strategies, zones, and locations. It is also though Baldaek that I have considerable resources to tradeskill, level, equip, flag, or whatever else I want to do. If I'm on Baldaek, I'm generally on /allies saying hi, offering congratulations or condolences and keeping abreast of what's what in ML. Look me up in-game, shoot me a tell, group with me, or get a buff from me. Just wanted to say hi here so you could get to know me a little better. Nithas Posted September 25, 2003 Share Posted September 25, 2003 Well, where to start... I started about 16 months ago on Brell Serlis. My friend who was playing for 4 years convinced me to start playing with the urging of 3 of my other friends. I spent almost a full year on Brell Serlis being mentored by my friend, while the other 3 tried to convince me to jump to Innoruuk. I've been a dirty twink from the start, unlike most twinked newbies I was taught from day one what to and not to do with intentional gaps in the info that was provided for me. I played my rogue for 9 months before I got mad about never finding a group or only finding really crappy groups. The original Nithas was born. I had fun, but decided to give my rogue a chance again and moved all my gear back to the rogue. My friend quit playing 2 months before this. After a horrible death in Kael and then a circumstance which prevented me from getting my corpse back in time I was gearless and wasn't sure if I wanted to play on a server with no guild, few friends I could rely on. So, I came to Innoruuk. Again I was twinked, though not as heavily. This time I made a Ranger as my main. In the time since coming to Innoruuk (some time in April) to right before the PoP buff spells were fixed to not be castable within a group on those not the appropriate level (Loved this fix) I shot up to 44, mostly solo. I found a guild to join, but due to lack of quality leadership from anyone but Danmoth (the only real leader this guild we were in had) it snowballed. I spent about 2 weeks guildless and Danmoth and Devination told me about an awesome guild that perfectly fit what I was looking for, Mystic Legions. I applied, I was excepted and here I am. In real life I'm an average Joe-Blow with a 3rd shift job that affords me plenty of free time. I'm a 10 year veteran of MUDding (the Father of the MMORPG genre), always in the top 25 Uber Beat down Dragons and whoop-arse zones with nothing but a sword, some spells and a lotta grit. I'm very involved in my family, at times to a point that shouldn't be (drunk ex-brother in law makes my involvement more then it really ought to be). The most shaping thing in my life thus far has been the loss of my Mother in 1999. It's left me little desire to waste my time on things that don't help me live life to it's fullest and most enjoyable each and every day. It's forced me to hold onto the things I love most: Family, friends and the things that bring me the most fun. Such things won't last forever, but I'll never let them be wasted away without a fight. Everquest for the last 16 months has been one of the most enjoyable things in my life, with all the good and the bad. I'm very happy to be where I am now, with the people around me.
