Sevarian
Alright folks, the collecting is going fairly well, with Tanta trying out the first full suit of composite. It was made without advanced segments and no extra layers and came out at about 26% resists. Even with 6 points spent in expermentation, he couldn't wear all of it. Adding in layers is simply going to aggrevate the problem. So we need to decide what route we want to take with the armor. I'm going to list some suggests below. 1. Full suits - Meant only for light protection with most experiment points going into reducing the HAM penalties. This means less protection but full coverage. This means also that there won't be layers in the armor and it'll pretty much be standard across the board. 2. Full suits + Layers - Designed for max protection, with layers for additional defense, we'll either slice all the armor or have people adjust their stats until they can wear it. 3. Partial suits - Helmet, Chest, Legs. Maxed out protection with layers. Having only the three major pieces will mean that we pretty much ensure it'll be wearable by all and it'll provide the greatest protection possible with the least amount of HAM penalties. Please, if you have ideas, post here and let me know.
Reafia
i would like a full coverage, and am willing to pay for it if the guild decides for light armor My idea is... make full suits for people and IF they want better, you can make a custom suit? Sevarian
Okay folks, only Reafia has really said anything on this. I need some input on what you folks would prefer to do. I'd like to mass produce the armor if at all possible and that means it'll all be the same. So please, think this over and post some replies so that I have a better idea of what to make. I don't want to make a ton of suits and then find out only 2-3 people can actually wear it. If you don't speak up now, don't complain later. Balandar
I would like a full suit as well. I rather have all of the same suit then ubese mixed with padded mixed with composite.

Siluial
I don't really wear armor. Why? Well the only time I'm in major danger land is on those big hunts and if I get jumped I don't know that the armor will help.. I use the psg's because they do not encumber me. I can't wear a helmet without losing significant amount of mind. Action isn't vital for me, but health is, so no chestplate. At which point, I'm wearing only legs. I have a set of armor, helm, chest, legs. I've worn it to test it. I just have never seen armor helping. Until they make armor really worth the work Sev's put in to make it .. I don't really have any opinions on what should be done. I just don't wear it enough for my opinion to count for anything.
Swann
My own take is option number 3...or maybe, 3, with the remaining pieces (arms, etc) being light armor that can be worn to complete a look for parades, publicity shots, etc?
Sevarian
Option 3 would provide full suits that people can wear, especially since Our offered to slice the guild armor. Then with the central body parts heavily armored, I can do light pieces to round out the suit so that you're wearing a full suit, with as much protection as we can offer. Does this sound good?" That's what I meant, but you said it better than I did. Here we are, 5 hrs later at work, and I'm just starting to wake up. Oy....
Swann
Sev, you're probably already aware of this, but just in case, see the Amrmorsmith changes in the upcoming Publish: http://forums.thehonorempire.net/index....=ST&f=31&t=4003 I assume these changes will not be retroactive to the armor you already made? Sevarian
It won't be retroactive no, that's why people talk about pre-nerfed items. Do not fear, you will be able to upgrade your armor as I am able to make better and better suits.
Swann
Well, I only have a chestplate right now, anyways, I was more concerned with you finding out you had wasted time & materials or something
