Weekly Hunts

Though the last mission part was pootched for us last night I felt over all the hunt was a good success. (And with a rousing end...)

I would like to open up some more guild hunt nights, maybe on a Friday or some other day that we can run the gambit of more of our members?

I have heard that there are some lootable items that would be great for guild prestige and representation. Also maybe a carousing desert crawl over the sands of Tatooine for more badges?

Anyway, just figured I would throw those out and see if anyone else would be interested in such activities.

The badge hunting was great. I wish I could have stayed up past midnight to see more people complete the quest. How many badges in all were completed?

Syban: If you wish, start a poll to see what day would be best for everyone to get together. We have had Sunday hunts and recently Wed hunts. (Sundays have become a problem for most members lately... yet our PA meetings are still being held at 9pm eastern time on Sundays)

My schedule for the forseeable future will only allow me to be on about three evenings a week. Would like to try to plan to be on when more members are. (Sunday will be one of those days for meetings)

I'd LOVE to do this...Sun or Mon nights. Or Thurs days. I know, that's not real convienant for most people.

This Sunday is out, though, unless you want to do it after the Miss Naboo contest. I'm a judge in it. (Starts an hour before the meeting is supposed to be, so it's still possible to hunt later.)

Just my thoughts on this badge thing..

Bal, especially, did get incapped once.

Everyone got their missions, then we went to do everyone else's in order.. Or well, that was the attempt. And I know Bal was incapped at least once before we got to his.

I hate to say it, but if you are incapacitated or killed, you prolly have to revisit the commander and do it again.

I now Daav said Victor was incapacitated and then completed his mission, and got the badge, but I'm not sure the circumstances of this. Maybe he did something different. Maybe he started over or something. Don't know. Because the dralls may incap you but they won't let you get up. They will slay you. Anyways, this is my theory.

Reiterating: THat if you are incap'd or killed, before you can slay all the dralls in your own mission, then you might have to start over.

This may be something best done with a small group. Isshy and I did it fine with out pets and a bit of planning. And we made sure the one whose mission we were doing wasn't incap'd or killed.

The part about being incapped or killed in the last part of the mission is true...however...you can also do the mission, kill the dralls while NOT getting incapped or killed (yes, after getting a fresh mission from the commander)...and still NOT get the badge. Daav, if he were still around, could back me up on this one.

soke: ewwww... well I'm pretty sure that Dathomir isn't bugged itself. That's where Isshy and I got our badges.

But that doesn't mean something hasn't happened since or that we lucked out somehow.

And it's good to know that someone didn't get incapp'd or killed and still didn't get the badge. That's proof positivie, to me, on a bug. Have you contacted the CSRs? left a big report on it or something? Checked the bboards?

This is truly weird. Of course what is real weird, too, is that I was sure that Act I was bugged. Because I could not, for the life of me, loot those discs. But after I got my badge, I looted one. Finally. And the other day I looted one. It's weird .
