Toulia
Happy Birthday! Well, I can look into it later...the sad thing is, those were suggestions that the techs gave me...so god only knows if I'll get anything better from them
Altarial
Well my graphics have been fixed at least - Pinben's face is no longer purple when he puts on his DE mask Happy Birthday! But the getting booted and having to redo the patch repeatedly is getting kinda annoying.
Balandar
If you do not delete the contents of your trash can constantly it can eat up a considerable amount of space. In windows XP it's set to 10% of your hard drive by default. You can right click on the trash can and go under the global tab and set the maximum size of the bin percentage. I have mine set around 5% I think. But I also just remove everything from my bin on a regular basis.
Altarial
Thanks for the advice, but I empty my trash bin every time I put something in it Happy Birthday! This is like the unsolvable problem.. I need Columbo!

Krislor
You might try downgrading your graphics on the options section before you sign in. I did all the steps above and I went back to basics on graphics cause I got tired of the lag in front of PoK bank and in the bazaar. It works superb now. I get hardly any lag now and I zone super fast. Yea people look basic again but hey, I would rahter look at normal people than lag badly during a situation(say chardok raid) where an event would cause me to lag and deaths, mine or someone elese, would occur. Altarial
I doubt that is causing this problem... what's the point of having 1k ram if i can't even see luclin models!?
Toulia
Okay....some more suggestions from the lovely people at Sony...Well, this is basically the last few things they suggest, otherwise, they beg of you to send the problem along with any other information you can provide, to their tech support. They suggest that you make sure that you have the newest Drivers for your Video Card and that you have the most up-to-date drivers for Direct X(Which is something like 9b I tink). On top of this, they also suggest that you not have any other programs running such as a firewall or an antivirus program while you play because these have been known to cause client crashes. I was also thinking that if you do not happen to have your newest Sound Card drivers installed, that you do that also. Sound, although most people don't think of it causing many problems, has a horrible way of sneaking up on you and ruining things. And just because it's cool:
Krislor
ALso if you notice on the option section that sound if one of the choices. It takes a big chunk of memory to run during game play. I would say because of all the variations of noise included.
