Soke
Ok. I know that at least a few of us are interested in getting a holocron (even though Daav isn't part of ITC anymore, I still consider him part of us. ) so if we could arrange a holocron hunt maybe tomorrow (Sunday), that would be great. After all, it's been a while so the excitement has died down somewhat and maybe we can actually find a camping spot to find FS characters at. I know a fairly secluded space that has two FS NPC's spawn on Dantooine about 2k meters out from the mining outpost...and there is a lot more spawns on Dantooine, so we can go out and get hides for armorsmiths at the same time too.... Anyone else interested in this?
Soke
Hate replying to myself... I just thought that a lot of people would be all like "But who would get the holocron(s) if they dropped?" Well, to devise a fair way of splitting them, I would say we each roll a hundred sided die, and the highest gets the first one, then the second highest, and so on. Chris
holocron drops are not limited to force sensitive npcs unless rebel surface marshals from faction missions are force sensitive
Swann
I'm up for the hunt, but can't stay late, due to being sucked into an extra shift tomorrow morning at work to help cover for someone. Are we having a meeting? If not, we could always just go straight to the hunt I volunteer to be low on the list for getting a holocron...I seriously doubt, at this rate, I'll need it. Martok
Decide which you would rather have, the hunt or a meeting. Can do either of them
Chris
we could possibly hold the meeting at the place we start the hunt from in order to avoid extra travel
Balandar
Anyone have a time on this? I Dunno if I can get done with my Stat project by then (have that due and a test next Tuesday )
Swann
Well, is there any reason to HAVE a meeting, aside from the fact that there hasn't been one in a while? 8pmCST is the time the meetings have been, so if we have the hunt then, well, it'd be 8pmCST. Soke, you want to start organizing where on Dantooine to meet? Again, I need to warn folks I can't stay long, but I'll help where I can.
Soke
Ok. Re, Chris: Rebel Spawns dropping holos.... I know that the ... hmm... Rebel surface marshals (?) are supposed to drop holocrons too, but I don't know what level missions you find them at, while I do know where some FS NPC's spawn (although, I still don't know where the crystal caves are, and I wouldn't want to go to them anway, cuz there will be a lot of people there.). As for a time? I had no idea when our meetings are to begin with...though I thought they were at 6pm MST. Personally, if we have a meeting, a hunt afterwards would be good. Or, if we don't, a hunt instead of would be good too. It doesn't matter... BUT... If we have the meeting on Dantooine, I would say everyone meet at the mining outpost on Dantooine. If, and this is a big if, we go hunting where I know there are some FS NPC's (and lots of big nasty spawns on the way there too...), the mining outpost is the closest to that spot. From what I have seen so far, that spot hasn't been camped, but it still might be... even so, we should be able to find some good hides for our armorsmiths. Or if people want to do Imperial missions, that's cool too. I just don't know what exactly drops a holocron from those high level missions is all. I am up for anything, really. Soke
And here I go replying to myself again! Argh! Sav, for the either/or proposition of a meeting...do we need one? I mean, has there been a lot of stuff going on that isn't posted up here as news? I still have yet to attend a meeting, so I'm not sure what goes on there... Bad, Soke. Swann
Main reasons for attending the meetings: A) People who don't read the boards. B) Savrem's wonderfully patriotic and inspirational speech patterns. Actually, it's more impressive that he can spout those speeches off on the fly, reallly.... C) Interaction of discussions D) RP. E) Important event happening at the meeting. Assuming the guild chat is actually working, we can do B-D via the channel Meetings are at 9pmEST, which should be, I believe, 7pmMST. Given that we often have a lot of dropouts from hunting parties shortly after startings, if we do a meeting first (because the hunt doesn't usually actually start for 2 hrs after the meeting ends)...I was suggesting the hunt BE the meeting, unless the Powers That Be object (or there's people who wouldn't go on the hunt that want to have a meeting), since if we all gather at the appointed meeting time, we'll get a 2-3 hr head start on when the hunt actually STARTS. And hopefully less dropouts. With Bal hopefully showing up at some point.
Balandar
B) Savrem's wonderfully patriotic and inspirational speech patterns. Actually, it's more impressive that he can spout those speeches off on the fly, reallly.... How does he do that? I need to practice my on the fly speeches for WoW.. but then again, he will be there as well
Soke
I think that sounds good, Swann... we can discuss whatever we need/want to en route to hunting.

Borg
Main reasons for attending the meetings:A) People who don't read the boards. B) Savrem's wonderfully patriotic and inspirational speech patterns. Actually, it's more impressive that he can spout those speeches off on the fly, reallly.... C) Interaction of discussions D) RP. E) Important event happening at the meeting. A) The boards are a power yet to be utilized fully by membership....24/7 communications and Q n A B) Does my soul good to hear our Moff has a flare for speaking (hehehe winks at UO elders) C) Guilds need to keep interaction going or be scattered to the wind. D) Developmental area which has been stated as the #1 only way that SWG OPS will "bless" or "harrass" player areas or activites........100% the only way to get interactions. E) NO ONE knows everything appearing in game or where it is....this is an important interaction© that also will solidify the foundation of (D), perhaps through (B) but also include referrences and input from (A) It is the BINDING that makes us strong. I do hope Guildchat works indeed........very useful.......VERY. On the note about seeking Holocrons........my question is.....how bout hunting a Dark Jedi? I know of 2 locations we can all get QUESTS for one to appear to be (slain in one and talked to in another) Slain........Dathomir Talk.........Dantoonie or Tantoonie (cant remember...it s on my datapad)
Martok
Sorry I was not in attendance for the meeting My best friend called me up and let me in on the news he is going to be a new DADDY!! YAY!!! So I took him out to the bar and we were both slightly inebriated. ( I still am very... slightly inebriated I should say) HOpe your holocron hunt went well! Soke
It didn't go, but Victor took me and Zemi and Otomo out and got us our Warren badges, so that's good.
Daav_Teirson
I'm interested of course. But if I came to the hunt it would be out of character only, it seems the only way to get holocrons is to be out of character in the first place so oh well. I can't miss anymore pagents so if the hunt falls on those dates then I cannot attend. Deciding who gets a holocron and who doesn't is a great idea Soke (with the dice, I knew those things had a purpose).
