With the City patches being applied,

It seems that the times of player cities are beginning. With the 'patch every day' approach we are getting closer to accomplishing one dream of having our very own city.

Which leads me back to my resources inquiry and request. I don't know if we need raw resources to accomplish building a city, but as a just in case I would like to take as many 'un-used' slots that our guild members have and try to use them in the best way possible to build up our resource base.

I was told to get a hold of MArkham for possibly placing some harvesters but I haven't been able to acquire the online time I need to accomplish that so I'm using this medium to get a hold of you and anyone else who would be interested in contributing time, money and slots to this purpose of building up the ITC resource coffers.

And as Cyva has brought up placing a resource dump house is a great idea. Victor and I have built up some energy resources that can't be distributed easily. (Yet again my lack of online time rearing it's ugly head) And having a common dumping ground for our gained resources can alleviate some timing issues that may arise.

I can give four lots to this goal. (Two are already taken for energy harvesters and two more for a resource house I can place.)

This is a guess since I wont know for sure till I see the schematics but based on houses and buildings we can make now.

1. Low grade ore the more the better tons and tons of low grade ore.

2. Carbonate ore can also act as lowgrade ore

3. Steel great for making walls and such

4. Copper

5. Iron

6. Reactive gas

7. inert petro chems

8. Non reactive gas.

This list is order of importance with lowgrade ore/carbonate being supreme. I will be on tomorrow to pass out medium harvesters for any that can place them or wants to place them.

if you look at a percent break down I would say

60 percent low grade ore/carbonate ore

10 percent steel

10 percent copper

10 percent iron

4 percent reactive gas

3 percent inert petro chem

3 percent non reactive gas

That would be my order of importance weighted

Our monetary resources is quite considerable (several million on hand currently)

As far as resources go, Kimpek has a very nice collection for city usage. My large harvesters burned up so I don't have those to use, just mediums. ;)

I think it'd be better for people with harvesters to keep the architects supplied. So far as stuff I need, I am able to supply my mineral and chem needs easily, it's the hide that I have trouble getting. So let's use those slots for city growth as opposed to crafting needs for now at least.

Also Syban, or at least I think it was syban, mentioned us putting down a store room. I think this would be a great idea to put down a small house and put people who are harvesting as admins so they can drop minerals there then any of the crafters who needs can take if they need it.

Actually it was Cyva's smashing idea. And it's something I'm going to carry out tonight, I will place it where the old location for the Mall was and in doing so it's close to our 'Industrial Sector'.

Going to start an Admin list from the crafting list we have in our crafters section of the web forums.

Also I should be on for a wee'bit longer tonight than usual so I can also place those mineral harvesters if you would like MArkham?
