I play a 65 nec and 65 cleric on povar. Kal's my brother in the UO guild, but i was thumbing through this forum and thought i'd give some info if you dont have it yet.

you get aa and new stats to your charm any time you're allowed into a new area. This includes planes you are now allowed access to via lvl shortcuts. BoT(key) CoD(grummace only i belive. not sure if quest counts) PoV(poj trials)... all those zones that used to be flagged only still give aa and charm points if you get the old access flag. Second tier zones such as codb(carprin cycle) also give stats/aa.

I'm ele flagged, nearly time flagged, so if you need info or help on anything send an cross-server tell to Divv Esethra or Vexon on povar. i'll do what i can.

PS... you got an extention of the guild on povar? If so I could prolly hook you up.

TY for the info! Gratz on making it to the ele planes and GL on your time flag. Will certainly keep you in mind if we need how-to info! I can't speak for everyone, but I know that Synthania and I don't play on Povar.

Being almost elemental flagged myself, I can speak to the flag/charm gain after access to zones is obtained.

Yes you get an AA/charm upgrade for the following real (not quested) flags:

PoV/PoS - Need to complete 1 trial in PoJ and do the piddly stuff

PoTactics - Need to KILL Manaetic Behemoth in PoI

Halls of Honor - Need to KILL Aerin Dar, the dragon, in PoV

Bastion of Thunder - Need to QUEST in. The parts are obtained by killing many giants

PoTorment - Bertoxxulous dead will get you the AA/charm (alternately, Terris Thule dead will too!)

CoD - KILL Grummus in PoD to get the AA/Charm thingy

SolRo Tower - Kill Agnarr in BoT, Kill Mithaniel Marr in HoHb, Kill Bertoxx in CoDb, Kill Keeper of Sorrows and Saryrn in PoTorment, Kill the brothers Zek (Tallon and Vallon) in PoTactics

PoEarth, Air, Water (Yes, 3 AA's/Charm upgrades!) - 1 Raid member needs flags from all 5 mini bosses in SolRo tower in order to begin/run the Rallos Zek script in PoTactics. Then you simply kill Rallos Zek

PoFire - After killing Rallos Zek, and being flagged for his death, you gain access to Solusek's chamber and need to kill him to get to his dad in PoFire

PoTime - Kill The Rathe Council in PoEarth, Kill Corinav in PoWater, Kill Xogeny in PoAir, Kill Fennin Ro in PoFire

Zones and feats you get nothing for! Nothing! Sit down and speak not!:

Do the Carprin cycle in CoD which gets you access to Bertoxx in CoDb

Do the 3 trials in HoH to gain access to Mithaniel Marr in HoHb

Do the Hedge trial in PoN to gain access to LoTT (Lair of Terris Thule, aka PoNb)

Do the stomach ache in PoTorment to gain access to Saryrn/Keeper of Sorrows also in PoTorment - ask me about this later, yuuck!

Kill the dragon at the end of the gnome quest thing in PoI to gain access to the Factory

Quest the key to Aerin Dar's Lair in PoV

Quest the Ring of Torden to gain access to the BoT Towers (1 needed per group)

Quest the Agnarr access key in BoT

Complete the trials in PoE to gain access to PoEb and the Rathe Council area

Complete the, at this point - trivial, trials in PoTimeA to gain access to PoTimeB where the loot is.

Quests which will get you upgrades and AA's! YAY!:

Kill the Daiku and get the 4 corners of the medallion (flags 6 for Tactics)

Complete the bile ond goo quest in PoD to get a key to CoD (flags 1 person for CoD)

Complete the PoV quest through multiple zones to get access to HoH (6 People)

Be Raid flagged for one of the biggies without actually being flagged for it! (You can be guested in to a raid if 85% of the raid participants are actually flagged. You can get AA's this way, without actually having done even the PoJ trial!) Bertoxx comes to mind immediately.

Please note: If you quest into any of the zones and gain an AA/charm upgrade, you will not also get an AA once you have the real flag. The reverse is true as well.

I'm sure this is not altogether clear, but it is accurate to the best of my knowledge. I am not yet Elemental flagged (need to kill Rallos Zek and Solusek Ro), but am fairly far along. If luck is on our side tonight, I'll have been in on a Rallos kill and will rave about the graphics and such in 3 of the 4 elemental zones for the rest of my life
