Balandar
I am looking at the following: http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm?page=pro...19&languageid=1 Anyone know how long battery life and how well they work?
Prometheus
I have an older version of that. The keyboard lasts quite a while, but the mouse eats through batteries like you wouldn't believe. I think I've had to replace the keyboard twice since I got it, and the mouse more times than I can count.
Balandar
Well, this mouse comes with a recharger. The wireless hub acts as a recharger and allows you to connect other peripherals to it... like a wireless headset (which I want to get sometime). Synthania
I dont have the Keyborad but my wife and I both have Logitech ?mice? ROFL sorry that just sounds funny. Anyway, they eat through batteries so fast I should take out stock in Energizer, seriously, no I mean really take out stock, big tip here yall. I have in the past found rechargeable device to be completely unreliable as in the batteries in them or the internal recharging unit ,whatever it uses, loses a charge faster than the cheapest battery. Also have they worked through the battery memory issue on rechargeables? Just curious...
Balandar
From what I understand, the logitec mx700 and 900s get aprox. 10 - 15 hours of life. The keyboards much longer. The mice have the recharger that comes with them. Also, you need to let them bleed to death, then recharge... do this three times when they are new. I am not sure if that would have an effect on it or not.. I hope they don't perform that bad. Not sure what else to ask for X-mas.
Rebma
Yes as Synth said we both have them, and I hate mine so much I want to stick it behind my truck tire, shift into reverse, and repeat the process oh.. 50 or 60 times. The new ones do look tempting, but I have had so many probs with the old version I'm skeptical. New keyboard would be yummy tho...Have an ancient HP keyboard with a broken space bar right now...good X-mas idea *hint hint Synth*
