Vradish
Hi,is everquest a nice game? I maybe wanne buy it so... Is it like anarchy online?
Rebma
Have never played Anarchy Online so I am not able to compare it to EQ , but..... They don't call it evercrack for nothing! I've been an EQ addict for 2 years now and I LOOOVVVEEE the game... They have made major improvements over the course of the time I have played and there are sooo many places to go now and things to do that it boggles the mind. Only problem with getting the game is that to really experience it, all the expansions are a must...theres great new options that come with each. Like a map option with Legacy of Ykesha, and the ability to travel Via Portal books with Planes of Power. Hardly anyone in game has just the basics anymore, so not having expansions to date is really restricting. It can be pricey to get started but its well worth it...its sooo much fun! I give it a thumbs up!
novawop
Hi, I have played Anarchy Online. and was back to Eq in a month. the things i did not like about AO: 1. buying equipment enhancements to improve yourself. you have to buy a replacement in 5 lvls. 2. they have about 100 lvls this sucks. 3 mission boards to solo and group like LDoN but needed help. 4. the zones were not mark in a way to know when your zoning and what lvl zone your going into. and 5. zone are set up in safety lvls. depending on the zone you might be safe from being attack from other players from other faction, (the planet was divided into three groups and building a character up just to fight a battle in the middle of no where did not appeal to me. now someone do a positive note on EQ please. im depression from buying two cd to play Anarchy Online. Sorill
I've been playing Everquest since April 9, 1999. I'm amazed that I'm still playing and enjoying this game. There is a huge amount of content for players of all levels. Everquest: Evolution is about $30 and it includes (everything except for the Lost Dungeons of Norrath): EverQuest Classic Discover more than 70 perilous zones while exploring three enormous continents in the notorious world of Norrath. Design your own unique character by selecting from 12 diverse races and 14 distinct classes. EverQuest: The Ruins of Kunark Expand your EverQuest experience in this lush jungle continent consisting of 20 new zones, a new playable race, the Iksar, new armor, new weapons and new enemies. EverQuest: The Scars of Velious Explore the snowy continent of Velious, where players can explore 19 dangerously icy new zones. Also embark on dozens of quests for characters level 35+ and discover hundreds of magical new items. EverQuest: The Shadows of Luclin Eerie moonscape reveals 28 new adventure zones and an all-new player character race, the Vah Shir, and a new character class, the Beastlord. Massively enhanced 3D graphics engine changes the face of Norrath. EverQuest: The Planes of Power Visit the homes of the gods in over 20 spine-chilling zones, with over 50 furious new beasts and minions who have never been unleashed in Norrath until now. EverQuest: The Legacy of Ykesha Hop on this seafaring journey as a new character race, the Frogloks and experience many valuable new features such as armor tinting, guild management, bank expansion and more. Rumblebore
If you get EQ, let us know - We can guide you in game a bit and help you to get your feet wet. The Guild is mainly a level 55+ guild, but we have a variety of alts that can join you in combat and activities that will help out.

Rumblebore
I will not be playing WoW - I stick with ONE online game - that is more than enough to fully burn all my extra time (and many hours of sleeping too). Just letting you know that if you are an active member in T.H.E. and seek to join EQ - you have a resource in Mystic Legions to help you get going and move on into the game. That is one of the reasons we are here. T.H.E. is a "world" spanning Empire. And we take care of our own. If they want it, that is........ Otherwise, they are just fodder like the others that play.....

Lolanya1
WoW reminds me of Legends of EQ. Is it a MMORPG? Or a set dungeon design-based game like Diablo?
Balandar
MMORPG based on the Warcraft world. http://www.worldofwarcraft.com They are making many strides in the game where others have failed. Instanced areas being one. You can get a dungeon all to yourself, and another entire guild can have the dungeon to themselves at the same time. What happens, is that the game creates an instance when you enter the dungeon, your own private little stomping ground. So for those large raids, you wouldn't have to worry about asking Mr. Uber l33t guild to let you play in their dungeon for an hour.
