Balandar
"The idea of using pairs of numbers to locate points in the plane and triples of numbers to locate points in 3-space was first clearly spelled out in the mid-seventeenth century. By the latter part of the eighteenth century, mathematicians and physicists began to realize that there was no need to stop with triples. It was recognized that quadruples of numbers could be regarded as points in “four-dimensional” space, quintuples as points in “five-dimensional” space, and so on, an n-tuple of numbers being a point in “n-dimensional” space. Our goal is to study the properties of operations on vectors in this kind of space." This will help my programming how??? I can understand 2 or 3-dimensions.. but 4... 5... 2,845... Borg
And that is why my friend ......the Borg will overcome your species.....eventually. sector 0,0,0.....the Terran System.....earth. muhahahahah
Fingon
Gotta love Algebra, nice vectors and matricies. It's been a while since I have dealt with them ( 4 years ) but I sort of remember how to do them. I could ramble on about GPSing and stuff like that but that wouldn't help you with your programming either. So what do the Borg have to say about this new / old enterprise??? I am guessing there will be some contact with the Borg eventually. Nice seeing you Borgie, how have you been. Fing
