Rumblebore Posted February 10, 2004 Share Posted February 10, 2004 For all you who have ordered Gates of Discord, there are 2 things you need to do to make sure you can use it. 1) Download Directx v 9.0 from the following site: DirectX Download Site - Microsoft 2) Go get a soundcard this is Directx 9.0 compatible. Anything LESS than that will not allow the Expansion to function properly. I do NOT know what will happen if you do not have a sound card compatible with this version of DirectX. I might when I try to log on tonight, since my card only is compatible with 8.0. I am ordering a 9.0 compatible card but won't get it until Thurs AT BEST.
