nadjia rhazzka
Hey there! Have any of you heard/used TeamSpeak during SWG gameplay? What is it: A small program that runs in the background that allows a user with a microphone & speakers attached to their computer to talk to other players on the same server. You can configure the program to have the 0 button on the number pad of your keyboward to be the talk button, press it when you wanna talk, release when done, like those old walkie-talkies we used as kids Best of all, the program is FREE to download and use. How it is used: One of us (who has the capabilities) also downloads the TeamSpeak server program and allows us to link in through it. There is more information here: http://www.teamspeak.org/modules.php?op=mo...bout&file=index Sorry, not sure how to make links here. My hubby uses TeamSpeak with his guild on another server. The quality is great and it is so much fun to hear people talking! I thought I would pass this info along to see if we wanted to use it or not. (I don't have server capabilities on my tiny machine ... yet!) *~Nadjia*~
Chris
Several of us use Ventrilo for this
Syban
Either of those would be good in my opinion. I don't know much about them, but I have heard that they add an element into games that is usually missing. Thank you Nadjia!
Wolf
Many in T.H.E use Teamspeak with our other Game Engines i.e. Ultima Online, Counter Strike, Lineage II, Warcraft III etc... They are great programs to utilize when gaming as it allows for more personal and direct contact with your group
