Ashenvale outpost

Narod strode from the peon barracks, rubbing his slightly-burnt shoulder. While following his nose to the nearest piece of bleeding flesh, Narod heard someone barking orders around where they had stationed the survivors of the Ashenvale Outpost raid. He then decided that his meal could wait, he wanted to hear what the clan leaders had to say.

As he neared the platform where the voice was coming from, Narod remembered something. Patches of his skin were blackened from the flames of his earlier activities. This is when he came to his dilemma, should he go and get rid of these black splotches on his skin instead of go directly to hear whatever it was whoever was saying on the platform? Or should he go anyways, indure the insults, and go take care of it later? Or, if he was going to go wash off, why shouldn't he just go get some food afterwards? He would have missed plenty of the speech anyways and it wouldn't matter to miss a little more.

"Skah! Uz hed am owie!"

It was then Narod noticed he was walking in circles, pacing and grasping his head in the middle of Ogrimmar. He stopped pacing and stood at attention, holding himself still until his mind did the same. He then turned in the direction of his barracks to get the marks off of his skin, then it was off to eat.

(OOC): Here's the REAL dilemma, do the black marks on his skin matter when he is pretty much covered in scars and has various runes burnt just about everywhere on his green-brown hide?

Uglutz looks around at the remaining Skullcrushers who had assembled around him, anxiously awaiting his no doubt long speech, and deep religious references to Shakha. As Uglutz was finalizing his speech in his mind, he glanced over to Captain Ugnush.

"Kum heer! Me need tu blah wit lat Ugnush!"

After a brief conversation, Uglutz understood the Skullcrushers had little patience for one of his speeches at the moment, for their defeat was still weighing heavy on their minds. In a rare moment of reflection, Uglutz decided to instead allow the remaining captains to decide their next course of action. The choice was simple: Mount an immediate counter-attack, or tend to some wounds and then mount an immediate counter attack. (SKAH! lat tink dat orcs nub gunna go agh clomp ib dey stil alive?!)

The captains began speaking with their grunts, deciding on their options. Grulg shot Uglutz a dirty scowl, angry that an immediate counter-attack was not ordered. With a large grin, Uglutz stuck his finger up his nose and waved to Grulg.

Grulg glared at Uglutz, watching him waving his hand. He had to wonder, why does he put up with that orc! He shrugged, no point worrying about that now. Uglutz is after all the closest to their god, Shakha, despite his odd-ball practices. With a grunt and some mutterings, Grulg walked toward the captains.

There were many injured, as Grulg looked around, but nothing that would prevent an immediate counter-attack. He spotted an orc laying face down in the mud. He better be dead, Grulg thought grimly, for if he is asleep... Grulg bent low and turned him over, then backed away quickly, out of reach of the flying blood, for an elven arrow had punctured his neck and was now spurting blood. The orc was a recently joined peon.

Grulg growled in anger. The death of his orcs only infuriated him more, reinforcing his desire to rid the world of every human, elf, dwarf, and pesky gnome. Grulg stormed over to the captains, eyes blazing in anger.

“Gid eberyash redi!” Grulg yelled, “Uz gu clomp dem nuw!” Grulg turned swiftly about and looked for Uglutz. Where was that orc. He soon spotted him amidst a group of shamans.

“Leeb ash heel’r wif injurd,” Grulg said to Uglutz, still a tinge of anger in his voice, “Tyme tu clomp.”

All the while the orcs started their retreating, someone else was having his own troubles: Shim's fast paced legs reached the woods and with a sigh he slowed down preparing to surprise the elven archer after him. All the time he cursed to himself, being so stupid as to engage an enemy alone. He lay down and turned to scan for the archer. He could see the moving masses far back there, and he spotted the archer. She was on her way back to her troops and Shim could release a relieving sigh. He hit his head against one of his totems, trying to think of what to do. Suddenly he stood up, looked out to the outpost and started running along the forest border. Once he saw the orcs starting their retreat he began to worry. He made a run for it out of the forest straight towards the orcs. As he reached them they were already on the run, and he couldn't get contact with anyone, so he just followed along like he was one of the others, but as they reached Orgrimmar and they stopped to heal up he found himself as quite a bit of an outsider. All he could do was look around at the other orcs and trolls, and an occational tauren as they all were busy with something.

(OOC: yeah, a bit of a jump back in time, but I had to include myself to be a part of the story further. Because I'm so cool >8] :) yub )
