Wildnin
Hello, I have been currently excepted to your guild, I however have placed Applications in a few other guilds. I want to make sure that what ever guild I join is the right place for me and that you feel I am the right person for you. I know that you require that a recurit joins you in a few groups, or a raid situation before becomeing a member of your guild. I however would like to spend more time with you and learn more about your guild before excepting a guild invite. I just want to be sure we are a good fit together and that I would want my final decicion to become a permanent home for me. I do not want to feel as though I excepted an invite just have it seem as though I can't stay. I hope you understand this. I am kinda doing an application with your guild, just to make sure we are compatible. I started this game about 6 months ago, still have alot to learn I know. I would like to be taught over the corse of time, I learn better from making few mistakes (hey we all do hehe). MY main is a 57 Cleric with 5 aas. I do have a few alts all under 30. Well first off let me tell you a bit more about myself. I am a full time Mother of 3 girls. I Live in EST zone, I play as often though as I can (adittictied to game), Naps, bed, or when I'm lucky hubby takes over. I normally am on from 8pm to midnight every night (except specail occasions), sometimes I am on from 1 pm to 3 or 4pm, other times I am on from 11 am to 4pm ( if hubby takes kids). Sometimes though I have to get up and run and care for my children at unexpected times, they come first. Most of the time I am able to type AFK for a sec, Very rarely I don't say that, before leaveing Keyboard. That is well about it. Next I have a few questions for you: 1. What is the average time zone for your guild? (normal raiding, grouping or whatever) 2. Are you mostly a grouping guild or raiding? 3. What Teir are you? (I yet do not have flags) 4. What area (zones, Epics) are you currently working on? 5. Can I group with you prior to joining you? 6. What would you like as a guild for me to work on as an indivisual? 7. Is there anything you would like to ask of me? Thank you for your time and also I am looking forward to playing and geting to know you.
Altarial
1. What is the average time zone for your guild? (normal raiding, grouping or whatever) I plan all raids in EST time, ranging from starting at 8 PM - 11 PM. I have to accomodate the folks on the west coast, so that's why some raids have to be later. We group throughout the whole day, though, so getting a guild group (especially since you are a cleric) should not be a problem. 2. Are you mostly a grouping guild or raiding? We are mostly a grouping guild, but have at least 1 planned raid each week. All raids will be posted in the MOTD and explained further in the EQ Raids section of this messageboard. We need to focus more on leveling up our current members before dedicating ourselves to more raiding. 3. What Teir are you? (I yet do not have flags) We are not "teired" in any way. We used to be Tier 1 (old-world mobs), but have since lost that title because the majority of the members who got that title have left (and I did not think it fair to keep the title), so we will be working on getting that back when we are ready. We tend to focus on old-world zones more than planes, since we have members below 55 and I try to plan raids where everyone can attend. 4. What area (zones, Epics) are you currently working on? I set up a zone of the week in the MOTD and that is where people should group during the week. We do epics for whoever posts them in the EQ Epics section. I then see who has posted info about his or her epic and work with that person to set a time and day to get their task done. 5. Can I group with you prior to joining you? Yes, you can group with us prior to you joining. It is expected that you either do 1 officer group and 1 non-officer group or raid prior to joining us anyway. But you may group with us as many times as you like before committing yourself to our guild. We have a chat channel called mlchat you can join to keep in touch with us in game. 6. What would you like as a guild for me to work on as an indivisual? I would like you to level as much as you can, but don't burn yourself out trying to get too high too soon. Getting more clerics with those higher level heals and buffs (I'm the only one with MGB HoV and only one above 58 who raids). Also, try and plan out a method for getting AA points, so you can get those better healing ones (I love them!). What I did was I would put 100% exp into AA until I got all my spells for my next level, then switch back to 100% reg exp until I was about to level and do the same thing, so that forced me to get AAs and get all my spells before the next level. 7. Is there anything you would like to ask of me? Just have fun and enjoy the game. Never feel afraid to ask anything of your guild, you will see how much we like helping out each other. Try and contact guildmembers in game and get to know them, we are a very friendly guild and even if there's no room in the group, we will talk your ear off instead
