Balandar
I need more Ram!!! I have to test render at 320x280 and that takes a good 15 mins to do!! *sighs* 640 doesn't cut it anymore. I wish I could have tested this image that I am working on now more, but.... since it takes such a looooooooong time to render. I think I am going to leave it as it is... once it's done rendering. Anyway, 40% complete at 11 hours 41 mins of rendering. Maybe it will be done before tonight... doubt it. Oh, and the reason for the long render. Atmosphere node. Wolf
Gotta stop relying on poser for you details and start getting creative in post work, then you won't get eaten as I only work one or two figures at a time and save them to a background image. Otherwise would be impossible for me to do any of the renderings I've been doing lately.
Balandar
Can't do that in this scene. You'll see when I am done rendering. I already spotted one mistake in it, but I am not going to stop it now. I want to get it done before the 9th so I can send it in as a wall paper for a WoW beta contest. I doubt I'll win any of the contests when there are people that acutally can draw and paint It should be done rendering around 8am tomorrow morning if no problems come up. (Like electricity going off or Windows XP having a CPU attack).
Balandar
Well, it seems the computer had a CPU (heart) attack late last night. The image was around 83% done. I'll use what I have and add a real nice thick border to it.. unless there is a way to render in reverse so I can get the last part of the image. Balandar
All done. Foggy Death It took around 25 hours to render. I had to take screenshots of what was rendered (what you see above) and merge them together. I also had to do some postwork with skin peeking through my orcs armor. That was a real pain, cutting and pasting little pieces from what did render correctly for around 4 hours to recreate that little section with the skin showing through. Other than that, my signature, and borders nothing has been changed from the render.
