chardok raid

In general, that link has a lot of good and very good guidelines.

However, there are actually 2 CoTH points for the mage, and Point B is NOT either one of them. Point B is a 3 spawn of Sarnaks and no CoTH mage in his/her right mind would summon to there.

The first safe point to CoTH, used mainly for the Prince, and is also the Safest place of the 2, is the mid-point in the hallway to the east of point B. There are no raomers, and as long a people understand that when they pop in htere after CoTH, they STAND STILL - PERIOD, then the raid can move into there safely.

The second point, using the same rule - STAND WHERE YOU LAND, is the exact same place as the first point, except it is i the southern hallway near the locked door (Point C).

This is where groups going for the King pause and get ready for the pulls from the hall heading south just beyond the locked door. And also - there are at least 6 spawns in that hall to the south, not 2.

Rooms D & E have more than a total of 4 spawns - more like about 8-10 total.

Point F is where sooo many raids wipe. People do NOT listen. They do not hug the left wall, They did not get levitate, they fall into pit and try to escape, they fall partway in and get stuck and aggro the room below, etc, etc. One of the MAJOR issues of this location is that People REALLY need to shut up and listen to raid leaders, to move when told to move and HOW to move. If a raid can pass this location safely without aggroing lower area, And survive the spawns in the next room, then the chances of a successful raid go up. This is the one hurtle that stops most raids that get stopped.

The raomer down in the Royals area can be actually 2 roamers. And they stop just East of the G room, and can add to cause a wipe. Generally, only one at a time.

Once the roamer is killed, then double pacifying (one doing left, one doing right) both sides of the Kings room can make a clean single pull for the King. The trick then is for MT to be in a corner such as the curve of the corridor SE of the Herbalist room on the map and to let MT get and keep aggro until ASSIST is called. NO ONE assists until MT calls ASSIST. Period. Healers can heal but MT HAS to get and keep aggro. Then you can kill safely.

Those are some of what I see and have done in this Raid. It will be a good test of where we are at.

Most of the raids i have been on have just bum rushed the king or the queen. We usually had high numbers of lvls or of players. But i have been told to not heal the mt until the mob or mobs are pulled up close and not when he is down a hallway otherwise there can be aggro. I do know that if you go down in to the pit. Just do the raid this one simple favor please: SIT STILL and ENJOY YOUR DEATH. We will get you out as soon as we are able. Sorry but i have been told that line many times. But all in all this raid should go ok. Just rember listen to the raid leaders and when in doubt go left. Just my 2 cps worth.

The few times I've fought the king we fought him right in the hallway behind the invis wall. I think we pulled by bind sighting and pacifying.

If we have 2 chanters with us who can paci and who agree to 1) chanter 1 paci's all left side and 2) Chanter 2 paci's right side, then king pull will be single.

The roamer(s) in the hall need to be killed first so that the puller (a ranger with jolt, monk who FD's at arrival to raid group, or necro (FD-same), or MT pull/tag) can grab the king easily.

It is all about timing. The problem with the Eye can be paci can fade before all mobs paci's and pull is made. It can be done, but timing is KEY.

Using eye to paci first mobs inside door is good, then open door and line-of-sight paci mobs is faster.

Once we see what we have there for raid, then we can know what process is best to use.

Yes Altarial, I know you can paci.

BUT, Paci can be resisted and we would need YOUR rez ability to rez the pacifier who stood and died. Or else need you to camp out.

Oh but it was much more fun MY way :D:D:D:D

I must apologize for the swarms of pulls and haphazard assisting on Torzams part. It is Old world and he can tank most mobs in the old world. Of course Synthania can too but thats besides the point. I apologize for the sloppiness and hope yall will still invite me again. I can pull better than that I have pulled carprin raids Agnarr raids PoV you name it. (of course it helps if people dont TAg unless I ask for it.) Not all the trains were my fault :smurf: Anyway I had a blast as did the other Formidable members thank you for having us along....

We had plenty of CC, so your pulls made everything more fun :smurf: It was great to see you, Rebma, and all other ex-SLOT/ML people again. Hopefully we'll be able to call on you all within a week or so, to take down my arch-nemesis, Ragefire!!! ahhhh!!!
