Cyric Rallathil
From: Senator of Espionage, Cyric Rallathil To: Senator of War, Steel Darknight Britannia Date: Jan 21, 348 Subject: Juka Recon Report Hail and Greetings Senator: As per your request a recon mission has been conducted against the race of the Jukas at the Dungeon of Wrong. On this mission, my kin, Mephistopheles, was accompanied by Kaatya and Rhaddyn. We explored two levels within the halls of the Juka confines. The area was found to be very cluttered and unkempt. It was earily lit with redish hued lights. We encountered very little resistance in the main hall as we entered. In this hall were mainly Juka Warriors. 1 or 2 here and there. They were very skilled in combat but seemed only intent on expelling us from their immediate vecinity of occupation. As we journeyed from the main corridor to the east, we encountered more warriors. On top of this we also encountered juka mages and Juka Lords. The mages and warriors seemed intent only to serve their "masters" will; The Juka Lords. They were intent on dying if necessary to prove their loyalty and honor their Lord. The Lords seemed intent only on quenching their thirst for blood and combat. The Lords are very skilled with the art and tactics of war and were found to possess a very tuned skill with the bow. Through team work, our party of three were able to kill a few of these tough adversaries. It seemed to be easier to defeat our foes if they had diversions to contend with i.e. energy vortexes, summoned demons, vengeful spirits, summoned elementals. With Kaatya's finely tuned accuracy and skill with the bow and diversions in place, the juka lords, warriors, and mages felt the sting of many flights of arrows. We recovered a few special bows that we found on the Lords and with Kaatya's kin Ethan, the bows were converted into usable bows of slayer quality. After spending the better part of an hour in the area east of the main entrance, we doubled back to the west and checked out the new surroundings. In this area we encountered Evil Arcane mages, more juka warriors, and Golems. This time although we did not have the Lords to deal with, the arcane mages possess a power equal to that of an adept mage and the Golems pack one powerful punch that can stun a person into paralysis making them even more vulnerable. We stayed in this location approximately 20 minutes. We decided to once again double back to the main entrance. Within the main entrance we discovered portals which took us lower into the bowels of the juka confines. We encountered many traps in this new area. We were in a hallway running east to west and had a stairway leading to our North. We followed the hallway to the north and ran into a room occupied by more Juka Lords, mages, and warriors. We employed the tactics that we found had worked earlier to defeat our foes. We journeyed back to our point of arrival on this level and then followed the hallway east. We encountered a great room and once again we found ourselves dealing with juka warriors and arcane mages. After defeating our enemies, we travelled west beyond the intesection with the northern hallway until we came into a large room with 3 rooms that had cell doors on the hinges, we noticed 3 levers on the walls and pulled them. Nothing seemed to happen in our immediate room. In this room we found juka warriors and brigands. Could this be a type of alliance? There were signs that the brigands were just as intent as the juka warriors were at gettin rid of us. We stayed here for apporximately 30 minutes and then we departed. In conclusion, I evaluate that the jukas are formiddable opponents but do not seem to have any desire to leave their confines in Wrong. They only seem to defend what they believe to be theirs' and just want to be left alone.
