Rumblebore
I was truly amazed when he died at the forge Monday night. I was not quick enough clicking on the correct tradeskill skill and I took 100+ points of fire damage. I had missed several other skills and the last one killed me. I lost all my current components and didn't get any artisan exp for the combine. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> What is this? I started a character who will be an artisan and only got burned once. What is this about clicking the skill?? Well, I guess I have a lot of reading at EQ2 Traders about that.
Sorill
You have a tab on your Knowledge window for combat, general and artisan (casters have a magic tab too). When you are working the forge, events appear in the window below your creation windows. You have a couple seconds to respond to the event by pushing the correct artisan skill to counteract the event. If you choose wrong or are too slow, bad things can happen to you (death or failure). I'm saving my cash and getting a couple more adventurer levels before I go back to the forge. Vitr is a level 13 warrior now.
Nycteo
Undecided about EQ2 Probably won't / can't upgrade system anytime soon (640 ram Pent 4 1.3 ) and unsure if that will cut it. Also what is the monthly cost ? Looked briefly at the website but didnt see that very important fact. Also seems like someone better make another call on which server to get on if we want to stay together as a guild.
DashZero
EQ2 came home from the game store with me last night even though I really only meant to reserve a copy of WoW. I have an evil Ratgirl named Egerka on Lucan that is still on Tutorial Island. I got her to 6th, but I am not overly invested in her or the Lucan server. Sooo...MistMoore? Somewhere else? I would love to hook up with some people, but I am pretty much a noob in the EQ world. I was planning to juggle WoW and CoH, and that alone will be a task. Unless EQ2 really grabs me, I will probably cancel after my free 30 days. UPDATE: Tried a Mage and like it a lot better. Found another buddy is playing Daopu (lvl 14 Wood Elf Brawler) on Mistmoore, so that's where I am. Ajala is my character (see Signature below)
