Syban
Just a heads up Sei has been tinkering around with opening up a Teamspeak server for us so we can coordinate hunts/missions/raids a bit better. We gave it a test run last night and it seems to work well. The address and sign on info will be given in game soon. (If it hasn't already that is.) Just using it a bit last night it was an almost 'night and day' experience for Corellon and I.

Syban
Teamspeak is a voice communications program that can run in the background while you have up and are playing other games, like for us Star Wars Galaxies. The site for more information and a client download is here.
Narbis Kentrol
Teamspeak ROX! especially for games like this or America's Army (DEFINITELY that one) it allows for hands-free communication with team/group members. I haven't used it in forever since my old AA clan dissolved while I was away at BCT. But it'll be great to be able to talk to y'all without typing And yes, a holomail with setup information was sent last night, with IP address, server name, password and all. See y'all later
Camro
mm, sounds ok I guess. I must admit I do prefer the less personal typing over actually speaking though How do u activate it for speach? I mean, does it send everything u say, or is there some way to activate/deactivate easily while playing? I can just imagine someone answering the 'phone or something while its on and u hear an entire 'phone conversation
Syban
As for typing instead of speaking no problemo at all! One of the advantages of TeamSpeak is that you will be able to hear others, (In the least) so commands and long winded explanations will be communicated much easier. One of the last trips on the Corvette I was on, I wanted to send only one person up to the second level so the rest would be fully rested and ready to go with the rest of the Vette when the codes where acquired. Unfortunately we had at least three that went up there and two died... So for TS all ya need to do is be connected to hear us and you don't have to speak at all. There are two options for TS to be activated so others can hear your voice. Either by keystroke, or voice activation. I choose voice activation... much to the chagrin of everyone else, every loud cough or clearing of my throat comes through... but I am the guild leader I can get away with that!
