Aluim Aster
Once the masters of the World, the Elves have been reduced to vagabonds and wanderers, the mournful descendants of their broken Empire. Arrogant, decadent, and cruel, Elves are still masters of the magical arts, but lack the discipline and organization to re-conquer all that their former slaves, the Sons of Men, have taken from them. What few Elves still remain are distrusted by all and treated as outcasts rather than Kings - their legendary immortality now a curse, they wander through the ruins of the World their elders made, watching them crumble and waiting to die. This is how they describe elves in the Shadowbane world. Now if you know anything about elves as they have been known to be in the past you can see that it doesn't quite fit completely...Arrogant and Cruel wouldn't be the first words I'd describe them with. It's almost as if in Shadowbane the elves are an evil race! hrmm... what do you guys think? Should Aluim be the same old Aluim or should he take on a darker side? Martok
You could go two ways: 1. Alium could be a dark elf seeking a makeshift alliance with men in order to further his goals (whatever that might be) 2. Alium could actually be one of the elves seeking to put past stereotypes behind him and embrace the new shift of power in the world (the power of the humans that is). I will definately have an elf as a secondary character. There is just too much RP value in having an elf in SB.
