Mareak Posted May 11, 2006 Share Posted May 11, 2006 Ventrilo Server for PGoH Ventrilo Client ver. 2.3.0 can be downloaed at: http://www.ventrilo.com/download.php ( a free cleint ) The download and install are fairly straight forward, so I will not go into details here, as they do; should you have any questions or problems; on thier website. What I will go into is the setup to connect to the PGoH Ventrilo server: After you have succesfully installed and started the client From the main screen on the Right Hand sides are little " -> " buttons. User Name ______________________ -> Server ______________________ -> Bindings ______________________ -> On the one for NAME click on that -> and then click on NEW. You will have to make a name for yourself! I am asking that you go with your main characters name, allthough you could make an entry for each of your Ulitma characters, so others will know which they are talking with. The other entries on this screen are not necissary, the Phonetic is fun to play with: "pee ge o h" sounds just as you would expect a computer to pronounce our guild name! after your entry is done, click OK, and back to the main screen you go. Next we do the SERVER -> and again here click on NEW Here you can make a freindly name for the server entry, I stuck to PGoH Ventrilo, but it can be whatever you would like, in this field. Now we come to the details, and there really is not much here to detail... HostName or IP: fixxit.dyndns.org Port Number: 3784 password: speakuo then click on OK. This will bring you back to the main screen, where if you would like to make additional entries for your other characters, simply repeat the steps above for each of them, and duplicte the entries for the server. Now all you do is click on the CONNECT button, and you should see the Welcome screen! IF a firewall message pops up, you will have to enable/allow it to go thru if you wish to use the Ventrilo application. I was close to tears most of the day because my I celebrated my very first mother's day the day he was born!
