  1. Good thing I am in the preferred best class for my life insurance agency. Which means I am in the top 1% of healthy people for prudential. I guess I can get whatever pizza I want.
  2. If you behave, then I guess you don't need to worry about it. The only thing they probably see me running is Norton antivirus, xfire, Norton firewall, Microsoft anti spyware, winamp, bluetooth software, fraps, sound blaster controls, ummm, coolios... that's about it. I use my old computer for everything else. New one is only for work and games.
  3. If you do not get your gear within, oh 4 - 5 days. I would call and ###### at them.
  4. He is missing out on all of the Halloween stuff.

    WoW Trojan

Also of note: From wow.allakhazam.com This only applies to you if you are running an older version of Internet Explorer, have not updated windows with the latest security patches and do not have virus protection on your computer. Apparantly one of our ad providers was affected by a trojan and was serving it to our site for several days last weekend. This is a keylogger and could possibly compromise your game login and password. As soon as we discovered it, we pulled all of their ads. To see if you got the trojan, go to Program Files/Internet Explorer in your directory and look for a file named "syssmss.exe". If it is there, then open your task manager and delete the file. Also go to %WIN_DIR%\Downloaded Program Files and delete a file named either "######snow.exe" or "muma.exe". Then once you have done that, log into the game and change your password. In fact, change every password for every place you have typed since you got the trojan. There are also several online sites that scan your computer for free. http://www.windowsecurity.com/trojanscan/ http://housecall.trendmicro.com/ We apologize for this. In 6 years of running this site, nothing like this has ever happened. It kills me to think that we may have, even inadvertantly, caused anyone to have their account compromised. We're all about making the games better and more fun. Believe me, we will do everything in our power to make sure it does not happen again. Along with the advertiser who sent this, and in cooperation with the FBI, we are attempting to track down the people who sent this. I hope I get a few minutes in a back room with the ######s.

    WoW Trojan

With the recent rise in reports of compromised accounts, we felt that it would be in the best interest of the community to bring this topic into the spotlight. This is an effort to educate our customers about what can be done to should your account become compromised and most importantly, what you can do to prevent it from becoming compromised. We strongly recommend you following procedure to avoid compromising your account: -Avoid using third-party executable programs. -Do not type your World of Warcraft login info on other websites. -Don't share your information with friends/guild mates. -Don't use "leveling" services, or any service that requires you to provide your account ID and/or password. -Change your password often. Also, make sure that you don't follow a pattern when you change your password (ex: 123Bob, 123Bobb, 123Bob1, 123Bob2) -Avoid UI mods with executables since they could contain Trojans that transmit your account information back to the host. [update] We have received the following information from a gaming website. We encourage all players to take these measures to ensure security of your account info. -------------- To see if you got the trojan, go to Program Files/Internet Explorer in your directory and look for a file named "syssmss.exe". If it is there, then open your task manager and delete the file. Also go to %WIN_DIR%\Downloaded Program Files and delete a file named either "######snow.exe" (without the spaces) or "muma.exe". Then once you have done that, log into the game and change your password. There are also several online sites that scan your computer for free. http://www.windowsecurity.com/trojanscan/ http://housecall.trendmicro.com/ -------------- We urge you all to review the current policy which can be found here: http://www.blizzard.com/support/wowgm/?id=agm01889p [ post edited by Tyren ]
  9. I'll need to save my pennies and watch it one day.
  10. If blizz has any brains at all they will have tracked the IP that was used to login. However, I doubt that you'll be able to do anything. Most of these hacks seem to happen from internet cafes' where you can't catch the ######ers.
  11. ROFL. Oh man, that brought tears.
  12. Yeesss, that means we can get discounts right? How much can you get Battlefront 2 for? Martok and I need to buy that but are strapped for cash.
  13. Wish I had those designs as print-and-cuts. I would love to do that to a pumpkin.

    Ug!

RAAARGGHHH! Guud tu cee anudur clomp'r! Dem humies brred lyk fuzzies.
  15. Yep. I sent that link to my Boss. He really liked it. It proved his point perfectly. Awhile ago the Gov. was talking about passing a law that would require all businesses to hand over SSN's and other personnel info.. my Boss was like.. Frak them, I'm not giving out your information. Do you want your information given to them? I'm like, hell no!
  16. Works for me in I.E.. I click and drag through the center box highlighting it all, right click, go to print, select selection. And then bam! Instant pretty chart. And if you do it in FireFox you can change the size of the printed page. So you could just select the actual columns and print that out on a single page.
  17. Just highlight the middle box and use print selection. That's what I usually do
  18. Yep, probably fake. Most say that But funny as hell.
  19. Does it send everything, or only what it thinks might be a hack/cheat.
  20. I am going to get a 75 gallon wet/dry system for $190 that has the pump, tubing, bio balls, overflow, sponges. A 75 gallon skimmer that will fit in the sump, comes with pump for $100. A couple of 50 to 75 watt heaters, also for the sump. This way only the overflow, power heads, and return line are actually in the tank. I may get a couple of really powerful powerheads that a tube can fit on, drop them in the sump, and take the tubing up to the tank... this way not even those ugly black power heads would need to be in the tank. I already have a couple of power heads for flow, but I'll need to find something to prevent the fish or invertebrates from being sucked into one and spit out the other side if I do use them in the tank.
  21. = Bal at work. When at work, I lose all sense of humor.
