Thanksgiving weekend is the 27th. People get the 25th, 26th, 27th, and 28th off. Four day weekend. Stores will not have the game in on the same day they release it. It will most likely be out on the 24th, maybe not even until the 25th for stores. That is going to leave very little time to get it installed, decide on a server, create characters (save those names!!), etc. before I leave that Friday. E.G. "This sucks".

This sucks. It's going to be released on the one weekend that I will be gone.

Server 10 it looks like. Except I can't use my names on there. I believe they are still in the database from the last stress test. However, if you see a Balandar or Grulg online. Give them hell.

We have plans for crafting after the first week or two. Mainly concentrating on a few individuals to get their crafting skills as high as possible. But first thing will be the guild charter and colors.

I created Vushnak on Server 10 since I can't get Grulg. I was planning on Vushnak to be one of my alts. Warlock. I need to make sure that when the game comes out I can reserve my name. I may have to come in late to work that day or leave early once the store gets their copy in.

Some ###### is already using my name on server 10 for Grulg. All of my names are taken on that server. I am thinking they did not delete the previous characters on that server and that it was a closed test server before for last stress test. So I am going to head over to server 3 or something.

I think after H will work unless we have several players already playing the beta. The final game version will be roleplay server at or after "H". As to the characters. I am not sure what I will do as well. I may try a Tauren or Troll. I already played an Orc Warrior twice. Not sure if I want to do that for a third time to just watch him get deleted again. Unless we got a lot of members... in that case I'll create grulg and all of us can try going on dangerous dungeon raids that are far beyond our levels.

Signed up! I'll have to download it when I get home from work. I used my debit card since it is instant process, compared to pay pal's 4 day process (Ick). With my cable modem I should be able to download 3 gigs pretty quick. Thanks DashZero!! ha! I wonder if this means you need a promotion now. Bribing me with money and all. I also went with the extra $4 promotion. I hope 3 months will give something other than just WoW beta. >8]

Quick random examples:

1) Determine Server (first day). The server will be one of the roleplay servers. In the past we (The Honor Empire) would choose the first server starting with the letter H, or the following server (so we could all play on the same server). This has always worked out very well. However, there are a few guilds we do not wish to have interactions with in any manner. But... there might be only one official roleplay server on release. In that case, we have little choice in choosing a server. No PvP servers (you are a-okay up to level 20, after that gank fest). 2) Guild crest design (can be decided now). See this page for symbols. And this page to create a crest. Post a link to the tabard. Example: http://wowvault.ign.com/guilds/images/tabard1.gif Post the colors and border styles or an image (preferred) of the color combinations. I would like to keep to reds, blacks, oranges, and browns if possible. Also, we want a symbol that is easily recognizable. A purple symbol on a yellow background is very easily seen and recognized. But we are not using yellow and purple. See what you can come up with! 3) Purchase Guild Charter (first week). This will take several gold coins. When we start, we will all be poor. Try to donate everything you can for the clan (copper, silver, gold, whatever). Give donations to Grulg or Uglutz. 4) Purchase Guild Tabard. This will also take much gold. We want to do this ASAP so we can reserve our clan colors. 5) PASS DOWN (from day 1 to end-of-days). If you have an item that is of reasonable worth, see if any orc/tauren/troll in the clan can use it before selling. Especially bags!! These things cost enough as it is… if you are filled up on bags, hand down those extras!

I'm not willing to pay the $15 when the game is going to come out in a few weeks. Plus open beta next week. As to the download, around 3 gig. You'll also need 4 gig on top of that to unzip the zip.
