Well, servers are done now It was fun, but I am going to call it a night. We'll need to post our pics sometime, heheeh.

At 6:00 pm PDT tonight, we will take all of the stress test beta servers down for 10 minutes, and at 6:10 pm PDT, we will bring half (6) of them back up. We ask that everyone log on to any of those 6 servers at that time in order to help us try to overload the login process. After you have logged on to one of the 6 servers, please stay online and play until 8:00 pm PDT, when we will take the servers offline again. This two-hour test will allow us to evaluate server performance with a concentrated load. We will then bring all 12 servers back up 10 minutes later at 8:10 pm PDT to conclude this "stress" of the stress test beta. Please remember that the purpose of the stress test beta is to try to push the servers to their limits, so you might experience difficulty logging in and/or playing during this test. Thanks in advance for your help in making this test a success, and please pass the word on to your fellow players to prepare them for tonight's activities. 6pm PDT is 9pm EST I believe

I picked up Grom and Thrall. Thrall is on the main shop page when you scroll down. I may get some of the others later on... but right now I'll stick with my friends, the orcs.

FilePlanet has issued all of their free authentication keys for the World of Warcraft stress test beta and will now resume taking applications from FilePlanet subscribers for the remaining keys. The stress test will start shortly after the sign-up period ends. The actual date is undetermined as of yet, but when the stress test beta is ready to start, an announcement will be posted on www.fileplanet.com. Please do not contact Blizzard on the status of the stress test beta. Public sign-ups are now active. Anyone interested in getting an advance look at World of Warcraft can now sign up for a chance to participate in the upcoming World of Warcraft stress test beta! While thousands of test slots were snatched up by FilePlanet subscribers during the priority-access period earlier this week, thousands more remain available. However, potential testers must sign up quickly, because the remaining test slots will be distributed on a first come, first served basis until they’ve all been claimed. The stress test beta, which will start soon after all 100,000+ test slots have been assigned, will help Blizzard evaluate World of Warcraft’s account-creation process and server performance under heavy loads. This seven-day test will be separate from the ongoing World of Warcraft closed beta test, but stress testers will have access to all of the game content that closed-beta testers are currently playing.
